- Today we take a full look at my previously owned Chevy Cobalt, I had this car a while ago but uploaded this video slightly late. The Cobalt was designed to replace the Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire, which ended production of those models in 2005 and the cobalt was made available shortly after. The cobalt comes with a variety of engines, including a 2.0-liter supercharged engine that produced 205 horsepower that can be found in the “SS” Trim level for the cobalt. The Cobalt also featured an optional sport suspension and a rear spoiler. While it was popular among drivers, it was also subject to a recall due to a defective ignition switch. Cobalts are also sold as the Pontiac G5 or “pursuit” in Canada. The G5/pursuit as well as the cobalt were available in 2 door and 4 door configurations.

I think Cobalt had great design for its time
A decent first car in real life. It gets you from point A to point B easily.
Speed and power. Those are the two words that come to mind when I saw that car lol
would you do the 2020 subaru outback? and the toyota corolla 2022 version?
This would be a great first car.
HOWS THE RIDE IN THAT CAR SMOOTH OR ROUGH ON THE HIGHWAY?
Add this to description, the chevy cruze replaced the cobalt in 2011
just curious what car do you own now ?
Right now I’ve got a 2012 Acura MDX Tech pkg and a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4
Love the color hahaha!!
DANM!
Cool
Yep
YEOOO I died when you broke the speaker 🤣🤣🤣
But this car cleans up very well for a $300 car. I’m suprised it has automatic headlights too…
Am I the only one that Is surprised that he didnt buy an 05 accord? 🤔
I have a 2006 cobalt and the motor seems to be solid but everything else is falling apart . The breaks are a pain in the A . It's good on gas
Toyota made engine that's why.
How many Cars you have
I’ve had 8
@@HondaAccordguy05 OKA,y where is the jeep and the Acura????
Do you still have it?
Sold this car a few months ago.
@@HondaAccordguy05 WHY YOU SELL IT.
I mean what can go wrong for $300?
Just about everything
@@e70_x5_guy4 You never know
I bought one new in 2006. I feel so old now. Thought it was modern for the times
I hated cobalts but when I bought this one for super cheap it made me like it. Got great gas mileage, decent pick-up and it was not all that small. They do fall apart and aren’t very cool but I love the SS versions a lot! One of those will be in my garage at some point.
@@HondaAccordguy05 nice 😊
I think they can be a good affordable used car but you’re right, they will not last like a corolla at all. Even with maintenance. But parts are cheap and they’re an overall pleasant car to live with
Kicks car** all 4 wheel and doors fall off*
For $300 you can have an Xbox or a cobalt
Give me the Xbox
The Xbox is a depreciating asset, while a $300 car is more likely to appreciate. As i proved by selling it for $1600
