I had one as well, it was surprisingly fast, had a great factory sound system....and some of the worst "running boards" ever. That panel that runs the doors rots out so bad it's ridiculous. I've yet to see one on the road where they're not rotted right thru.
I hated cobalts but when I bought this one for super cheap it made me like it. Got great gas mileage, decent pick-up and it was not all that small. They do fall apart and aren’t very cool but I love the SS versions a lot! One of those will be in my garage at some point.
@@HondaAccordguy05 nice 😊 I think they can be a good affordable used car but you’re right, they will not last like a corolla at all. Even with maintenance. But parts are cheap and they’re an overall pleasant car to live with
I'd rather have this than a Japanese car. Cheap little daily driver, and American. No expensive foreign car parts to mess with. But, id rather have a V-8 car or truck.🙄😀
A decent first car in real life. It gets you from point A to point B easily.
I think Cobalt had great design for its time
Speed and power. Those are the two words that come to mind when I saw that car lol
This would be a great first car.
Add this to description, the chevy cruze replaced the cobalt in 2011
YEOOO I died when you broke the speaker 🤣🤣🤣
But this car cleans up very well for a $300 car. I’m suprised it has automatic headlights too…
I mean what can go wrong for $300?
Just about everything
@@e70_x5_guy4 You never know
just curious what car do you own now ?
Right now I’ve got a 2012 Acura MDX Tech pkg and a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4
would you do the 2020 subaru outback? and the toyota corolla 2022 version?
I have a 2006 cobalt and the motor seems to be solid but everything else is falling apart . The breaks are a pain in the A . It's good on gas
Toyota made engine that's why.

Cool
Yep
Love the color hahaha!!
HOWS THE RIDE IN THAT CAR SMOOTH OR ROUGH ON THE HIGHWAY?
Pretty smooth it’s my daily car. But it makes weird sound… I think it’s because we changed the oil a little late and it was used
@@doubleFJeff what are you running for shocks and struts and tires,as i have the same car.
@@captainsenileinfo ?
Nice color.
Kicks car** all 4 wheel and doors fall off*

Do you still have it?
Sold this car a few months ago.
@@HondaAccordguy05 WHY YOU SELL IT.
For $300 you can have an Xbox or a cobalt
Give me the Xbox
The Xbox is a depreciating asset, while a $300 car is more likely to appreciate. As i proved by selling it for $1600
