Please audit BMW's Oxford plant @ ox4 6nl and p.s the security guards will try and stop you from going in the main car park but the car park has been adopted by the council and that was the only way they were allowed to build such a big plant with that car park by allowing it to be public so it is public don't let them fool you and they love it if you can try and film one of their brand new models, they even try and cover them in camouflage, it's to try and make it so that cameras cannot take photos of them and I'm not joking they actually wrap them in camouflage

We have a RR car factory in Bognor Regis they seem to be everywhere also another just down road in Chichester.
Im a recent subscriber and I love how you manage, with your calming voice and direct questions, get them to give you more time and info than they would originally have planned.. Most of your videos are the same, and it shows how with the right style, you can engage and control the situation to your advantage, its quite a unique style in the auditing world, and I like it.

You're not on public property, you're on a public right of way. That's why you have a right to film . There's actually no such thing as public property in the UK. Property may be owned by the government or a local council, but nothing is collectively owned by the public.

Rolls-Royce has facilities that manufacture gas turbine engine components at Derby, Bristol, Ansty, Hucknall, Annesley, Barnoldswick and Inchinnan. They did at one time have a joint venture with the Welding Institute based near Catcliffe, Sheffield. When I worked for RR I was invited to attend a laser welding seminar there several years ago. RR can be a bit sensitive regarding photography as certain facilities manufacture military components. Mitie have the contract for security at most sites.

I was told each blade for the fan costs about 30 grand or more.
I worked there in the 70s (Derby, oiling the machines) basic job but loved it as I went around depts seeing how they all worked, at that time they were getting some new machines for the blades at that time costing £1M. Probably all computerised now.
There is also a plant in Birmingham. They are testing engines.

Hey P J that may be where they "grow" the blades for the jet engines. The blade are grown as a single cell and so are almost indestructible.
I seem to remember a film some years ago showing the basics of the technology of how they grow their blades to give them an internal lattice like configuration.
Is that the one where they grow it from molten galinnium?

Let me tell you about Rolls Royce in Newcastle. All these highly qualified and skilled engineers made this huge turbine which was just the right size to get out of a huge door when it was going out to the new owners. They put it on the back of a low trailer and guess what, they didn't factor in the extra height of the trailer. They then decided to start dismantling the front of the building until an apprentice advised them to let the tyres down. Remember, these are the people keeping you up in the air when you're going on holiday.
Also remember whilst you make Your uninformed, supercilious comment that they're 100 times more intelligent than you'll ever be. The people charged with moving it weren't the engineers who design the turbines or "keep you in the air" but instead would've been procurement & logistics people. Most likley a 3rd party contractor was responsible not Rolls and definitely not design engineers.

I was going to spend £210,000 on a new Rolls Royce car to pose and show everyone that I have done very well for myself,I am a bit of a showoff,but now that RR will not allow the public to see& take photos of the car ,I have been really put off by that and I am keeping my 17 year old Fiesta, so there you go .
