    Finally after rendering on so many tutorials i understand what rest apis are 😮‍💨😄
    So restful apis are nothing but the apis that are made using REST i.e rest are the patterns or the rules for writing / creating apis

    I really liked the simplicity in the REST definition, great work. BTW change the "Daily Tuition" title video, grave is more exciting than it.

      For example: There are a bunch of different websites that are built with different programming languages so if one website wants to acces another Websites data( eg: Gmail drafts ): it has to use a TRANSLATOR ie an API. And Rest is one type of translator... Hope you got it.

    Understood the difference,
    but have one doubt
    suppose I want to build weather mobile application, okay, so if I'm not wrong
    The URL of API we use from the server is REstful API and the architecture used to make that API is called REST right?
    if i'm wrong please correct me.

    Hi at 3:40, for updating the request, shouldn't we use the Put request? B'coz you mentioned that as Post request. Or Post can also be used for Update? Please clarify

    Examples of rest api?

    • @DailyTuition
      @DailyTuition  5 років тому +1

      Google API, twitter API and you can find thousands of resful APIs.
      For example, Using Google restful API you can create Google login.
      So it means you are using Google resources for your use.
