Queen of Macba is a game of skate where anything in the plaza count (ledge, stairs etc...) It's one attempt each until the word MACBA is spelled out. Spots must be alternated when in command, so you cant pick the same spot two times in a row. Defence has 2 tries and 3 tries on the last letter. The extra obstacle (hydrant) must be used one time in the game.

@@Archon83 I don't have an issue with that. If you want to win then no harm in playing to someone's weaknesses. It only pushes them further to round their skills more. Nothing wrong with having a bit of strategy in a competition.

I’m not going to belittle someone for not being able to skate switch when my own switch game is so weak, but if you are entering a contest that’s any sort of variation on a game of skate in 2021 and you can’t skate switch, you’re basically screwed. Especially when the rules dictate a back and forth on trick selection and you can’t just go on a run and control the tricks set.

Me emocione de ver a itzel en el video, me decepcionó que no se esforzara en los switch y nollie, es un concurso, deberia dar todo :(
es que también se entiende la frustración, es un todo cuenta donde el punto es que se pongan trucos de cajón o desnivel y solo se pone a patinar piso, que hueva jugar un skate con alguien así.
Es algo amistoso , se lo toma en serio pero no tanto.

Thinking the same thing. Switch Ollie high contest and couple of flat ground tricks? Cmon it’s queen of macba not queen of high Ollie and flat ground. At least itzel was mixing it up on the spots making it fun and interesting.

El tema es que Monica abuso del flat ground siendo que su contraparte se enfocaba en varios módulos( aunque fallará).

Why Monica have to turn it into flat ground game of skate? Supposed to be doing tricks on macba spots. Switch Ollie onto a ledge is a trick now lol she literally switch ollied higher than the other girl and knew it, so used that to get her a letter, then did couple of flat ground tricks she knew other girl couldn’t do. At least Itzel was actually using macba ledges and stairs to make the game fun and interesting.
Thats called strategy, stop hatin... Most of the guys do the same when they find about the opponents weakness.

But that's a contest, so obviously people playing strategy for the win. We just want to tell them, competitive is not our vision of skateboarding. Just enjoy and have fun.

Would be better if they limited the flat ground tricks to one each per game, so contestants would be encouraged to go for something unique on flat if they're gonna. Just avoid pressure flip under flips...
