Their closest cousin tribe is Afridi who are descendants of Ozman Khan youngest of four sons of Burhan Khan, Lukman being eldest. They're ancestral homeland is both west & east of Mighty river Indus. This is being performed by Khattak Tochi scouts soldiers on invitation of our neighboring tribal nation of Marwats who reside south of Khattaks in place called Lucky Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. .

This is khattak dance.. Its not like just shaking head and calling it attan. This is real khattan attan performed by saghris khattaks living in kohat, karak, and attock not all khattaks can dance like that. Only saghris khattak can.

Afghanistn is super rich in Uranium n many suggest, equally rich in oil(yet to b xplored). Simple answer is "Foreign intervention".
