    Training for dragon boat racing?
    If you want to be a successful dragon boat racer, not only does your paddling form has to be on point, but your overall conditioning has to be at its best.
    Make sure that your training sessions are specific to the cardiovascular demands that dragon boat racing needs. Interval training is one great way to prepare for your upcoming race.
    For those advanced in your training experience, consider utilizing a tabata designed workout!

    Its helpful.. since im so new in dragonboat and really so into dragonboat and got me so so interested. And oh by the way i am from philippines and i am so thankful that you speak so clear that i understand every single word you without playing the video over again just to catch you know the words i dont get.     Your thoughts on battling rope I use along with my SkiErg. Personally I noticed increased paddling strength the more I use the battling rope in my workouts.

      Sorry for the delayed response. Ultimately you’ll need to progressively build your endurance for the amount of time you plan the race to take. Having a baseline fitness helps (think long and slow paced runs), but you’ll need to build the similar paced intensity for your desired duration.
