What is funny but sad at the same time, is that the airplane level shown here was originally supposed to have started I believe Weathering Heights, but it was cut due to the fact that it was unwinnable due to the enemy planes being so difficult to destroy and take N-Gins ship down at the same time.
Imagine if the developers had have enough time or if we get a remake. Would be the best Crash ever. But its my favorite with warped even if it have problems.
They probably wouldn't add this stuff back in though since most of it was for crash bandicoot worlds and since insomniac made rachet and clank they had to throw all of this stuff out including the story that goes with it I would like to see this and twinsanity remade though still
@@DrNeoPrototype Most of this stuff wasnt for worlds, cause the concept was discarded very early before the real development and only a tiny concept level was made for it to show it the publisher. I would even say that the portals and the lava level are the only things from worlds, but they still wanted to use them with the classic Crash concept.
Some oddities I've found in the GameCube versions (PAL, NTSC and NTSC-J): - ats/levels (PAL only) has backup files - chars/A/AkuAku contains some backup files - chars/A/Crash contains "newCrash.hgo" - levels/a/snow_m has a file named "kev fix SNOW.CPT" - levels/a/cold_a has a "back" folder (earlier files). The contents are different in the PAL and NTSC versions. - levels/a/coral_c (NTSC-J version only) contains a "back" folder (earlier files) - levels/a/earth_r (PAL only) has a "b" folder (earlier files) - levels/a/seashell (NTSC-J version only) contains a "back" folder (earlier files) - levels/a/west_a, farm, seashell have unused .obj files - levels/a/western (PAL version) contains a lot of earlier revisions of files with an "_" added to the end of the file name, like "WESTERN.AI_" and "western.nus_", as well as folders named "bump" (empty) and "t" (earlier files, and other files with _ at the end of the file name). - levels/b/logos contains some backup files - levels/b/outro (NTSC-J version only) has a "Copy of outro.cut" file - levels/c/snow_b and levels/c/space_b contains a "b" folder (earlier files) - (PAL & NTSC only) There is a .dbg file of every .OBJ file with additional strings, like a version number. I guess you can get an idea of when certain levels were worked on, since some levels have an older version number.
Have you looked at the TWOC demo on Official Xbox Magazine Disc 08 from July 2002? The /chars/A/Crash/ folder contains multiple revisions of the .hgo files, some .cfg files, and an error log file (which I found quite interesting) that shows file names and working directories used during the development. Here are the files, in case you haven't seen them: www.dropbox.com/s/n307unwytx8rmoi/Crashfiles.zip?dl=0

The astonishing thing is that this video feels dated by how many MORE discoveries have been found since then, such as the load screen minigame and several new animations like a diving one explaining why the beta hub spots are non-solid, as well as what the Proximity Crate was gonna do. Even AFTER the Worlds concept got ditched, this game had such a huge scope of ideas that just didn't make it.
How does that have you the editor works, all correctly with no problems? And did it me when I tried to put various codes to run the editor on the emulator via programs it didn't work? For me it was, and is a real nuisance not being able to use the Crash Bandicoot editor.
The Devs had many ideas but had to finish the game very fast, thats why wo much is cut and why its not very polished. And thats why this needs a remake.
@@PellaeonEU Yeah it definitely isn’t a very polished game whatsoever but…if I were to be honest with you, I really wouldn’t want this game to be remade at all. If anything, I would prefer a Crash Twinsanity Remake over a newer version of this game. I just don’t think that the game really has enough there to justify doing a whole remake if you know what I’m saying.
@@TheDreadfulReaper02 No, i dont know what you are saying. With all the cut concepts and maybe some complete new level, this would be an awesome Crash, i think even better than the best title, Crash 3. I played Twinsanity, but i dont see much potential for a remake. But maybe you have some good ideas for it? I would personaly see more potential for game with the concept of the planed Crash Worlds, which was supoused to be the firt more open Crash. And i can see the many potential in a Titans sequel with a evolution of allmost the same gameplay and style instead of mind over mutants. Or a complete new game which takes the best from Crash 2,3 and woc and without the problems of its about time.
@@PellaeonEU I had no idea that Crash Worlds was supposed to be the first Open-World Crash Bandicoot game prior to Crash Twinsanity! That’s pretty cool actually!!! Also, a sequel to Titans *could* work too…but that’s only if the internet pussies don’t get too offended by it this time lol!
@@TheDreadfulReaper02 True. People hate and hype things for no reason in the internet instead of just talk about things you have knowlege of and really played it.
Some of the scenery is missing. And the transition between the x-ray is slightly different. I made another video about this, and it was very different as i just file swapped some and not all the files.
This video taught me more than just beta stuff...it also taught me that TWoC's soundtrack is phenomenal!
it's fire
@@BetaTester how can i play it ?
It has that Rachet and Clank feeling, despite being released 1 year before that game.

N. Gin in atlasphere levels? Now I saw everything. Anyway, what was his attack pattern supposed to be?
The gecko reminds me of baby t and the lion reminds me of the tiny tiger boss from crash 3
