I purchased my EP7 primarily to use as the First-Person view for my glass bead making tutorials. Additionally, I've found it very useful as a head-mounted microphone to use when creating audio for other videos. Have you tried the EP7 or its predecessors (EP5 & EP6)? What did you think? Thank you for this lovely and honest review. Torn between choosing the EP7 and the EP8 as when the two are compared side by side, there does appear to be small issues. Am not sure if the updates for both sort out the issues like sound and stabilization though for both versions.
Great review! Can you please upload somewhere like Google drive some of the original footage files from the camera, it would be great to see original video quality without UA-cam video compression.
Thanks for your note. I'm sorry but the original footage is no more. Once the video was completed I removed it to save space. I will say that the quality of the video was, overall, Better in "real" life than after I uploaded it to UA-cam. UA-cam seems to have degraded the quality, at least in part.
Facebook Live I don't know, but it does connect via wifi and its own app for use in streaming. From the app you can get a preview of what the camera sees, change settings, etc. Also you can remotely move photo and video files from the camera to your phone.
This is a very specific use type of camera. If that is what you need, I think that it's a lot of camera for the money. So yes, I would still recommend it. However, if money were of no concern, I personally would get a GoPro with all it's bells and whistles.
I haven't had a situation where the battery was exhausted so I can't say with any certainty how long battery life may be. However, I've used it on the go for an hour or more without problem. When I transfer my videos I tend to always top-up the battery so that I'm always starting full.

Which one would you choose nowadays?
Very informative! Thanks so much.
You are very welcome!
The two plastic clips are used to stick the camera to the cap on head
Great review! What is the name or type of cable to fit the HD port at the back of the EP7 ? Can you make a video demonstrating how this port is used?
Mini HDMI connector not included with the camera. I use a Mini HDMI to USB to feed external power and extend the operation.
❤️👍🏻
Good review brother 👍👍👍
Thanks!

@@fromthebeadmaker I downloaded the video and was able to stabilize it very nicely in Davinci. Not that bad for making UA-cam videos
U have nice hair
Thanks

Same question?
Would you recommend paying $230 as of today!

It does not connect to my laptops
Does this camera offer a time/date display option?
Not that I can locate.
Yes, it does and it is in the APP to turn on and off as well as change resolution and other features...
