It was a good job that you replaced the garage call point to a weatherproof one since that wasn’t the only call point that I have seen that was getting jammed. That Symphoni sounds really quiet!
Nice change to see a commercial system that's installed in a house when not required (i.e. not a HMO) still installed properly to the BS rather than cobbled together with Cat 6 cable and random bits as many hobbiests do, mixing their 'tinkering' system with their own life safety protection
bit overkill but hey it allows fine tunning that the domestic systems dont offer false alarms from cooking are nonexistent when doors are closed, its set up so that most of the multisensors switch mode depending on the time of day heat during the day and smoke during the night. there is a few issues with the cables running to the sheds as they are either just flex in the case of the blue shed or both loop legs are contained within the same cable (4 core). this is getting rectified when the garage gets rewired with a beefier supply.
Holy hell I had my headphones at max so I could hear the symphoni more in the garage and when you went back into the house.. I am now hearing impaired.
the xp95 openarea sounder was swapped out for a discovery voice sounder, the beacon on the wall above the call point has not been touched its still there.
@JeffyHategreenbeensPooped 2000 Peely Not exactly, Apollo is the number one most manufactured fire alarm system in the UK but schools tend to use Apollo XP95/Discovery and Gent Vigilon and hochiki and occasionally twin flex and notifier but ye i guess most of the time schools will use Apollo's addressable range over others.
its not always about brute force decibels, some sounder will definitely blow your ears off but they are not really required here so i didn't bother with them. your also watching an older video things may have changed since then. i do make little incremental changes over time.
0.52 when it stuttered is supposed to do that cause i have a system with Apollo x95 detectors and when i silence them they stutter for 4 seconds and then go normal for 3 seconds and then stutter again for 3 seconds and then shut off? do u know if it is supposed to do that or if i need to get a new system?
The Newer Sounder Beacon bases Can, don't know exact models but there are definitely newer models, i've seen audible silence with XP95 Sounder beacon bases, i believe test logs Sounder Beacon bases are older then newer ones.
i would recommend if you do not know what your doing that you find someone who can set it up for you safely, might be a little hard during these times unfortunately. experiment with low voltages that cant shock you and stay away from mains until you can work safely around it getting a belt is not fun at all.

the symphoni is loud enough ahah.
Yeah, they’re deafening! I haven’t actually heard one but I’ve seen them and can’t be able to hear properly for a while...
The sounders stutter when the sync command it sent out to them. Basically they just start the tone again, hence the stutter.

and this is my fault how?
Lol
@@testlogs9005 Ah yes, I remember absolutely saying that, 100%. Of course it isn't your fault, I never said that.
Usually symphonis are louder but it is covered up in this video
0:52
Connor since you now have a voice sounder in there. Is that the same beacon above the call point and same call point?
the xp95 openarea sounder was swapped out for a discovery voice sounder, the beacon on the wall above the call point has not been touched its still there.
Is the same call point still there as well
@@bowsersean8098 still the same.
Test logs can you help me to wire up a sentri fire alarm panel
The one in the shed were did you get it from
you can get them from wholesalers, or well ebay.
I find that most schools up north have Gent systems and schools down south have Apollo systems.
Down here in South London my school has vigilons. Maybe the engineer was from the North.
they sound ecxactly like the fire alarms at my school

JeffyHategreenbeensPooped 2000 Peely in my school we have Roshini sounders.
I have conventional bells
My school has an apollo xp95 system with a Kidde vega panel and but uses bells for class change
Why did you replace the sounder in the garage
its been a while, cant remember. probably wanted a beacon by the door for pre alarm warning.
@@testlogs9005 I know here in America some panels are programed to flash the strobes a few seconds before sounding the horns
@@WilmingtonOHProductions Not a thing here in the UK.
Why does the call point beep when you press the glass?
the only sound the call point makes is the mechanical sound of the mechanism being actuated, The beep comes from the panel.
why is it so quiet I mean here in America we have simplex 4030s that will blow your ears off.

You don't sound like you know much about your 'system'
What panel do you have and what sounders.
AeFire same as your one and apollo xp95's
... sure
AeFire so do u know why?
i could say its not a normal function, its a periodic glitch i experience from time to time.
Can these do audible silence?
no. both strobes and sounders silence simultaneously.
The Newer Sounder Beacon bases Can, don't know exact models but there are definitely newer models, i've seen audible silence with XP95 Sounder beacon bases, i believe test logs Sounder Beacon bases are older then newer ones.

test log a have an apollo system can you help me wire it up
😁😁

So when it syncs the sounders stutter.
Yep, that's what the stutter is.
Why you got a smoke detector in the shed
Quite obvious
cool fire alarm video
Good fire alarms
thanks for sharing
Dose the led on the old call point pulse
Xp95 devices have no poll status, so the LED on this call point does not blink.
Face My Teeth face it Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahahhahahahhahHahha What do you think I'll do next to Be continued
Good test
first nice test

Phsd,adF nope that is an Apollo. System
