“We want more boldness among the friends of truth. There is far too much tendency to sit still and wait for committees…We want more men who are not afraid to stand alone. It is truth, not numbers, which shall always in the end prevail. We have the truth, and we need not be ashamed to say so. The judgment day will prove who is right, and to that day we boldly appeal.” - J C Ryle
Joshua, Is there any availability on the class he mentioned on the "mechanics" of preaching? I believe it was the first lecture in this series that Dr. Lawson spoke. I just preached for the second time last night and I would like to work on the mechanics of presentation...Thank you for any information you have that would help!
he addressed teh topic dopic. without teh right Spirit you can read teh bible all day and not hear what God is saying. Common sense. Only for him who "has ears". you self righteous fake.
His topic is preaching! Considering Spurgeon was known as the "Prince of Preachers," I'd say it is expected that he would talk about him quite a bit, along with Luther, Calvin, Whitefield, Lloyd-Jones, MacArthur, and the rest. Wouldn't you think so?
@@supersmart671 He mentioned in an earlier class that he would be using examples of expositional preaching from both the Old and the New Testaments, if that is what you are meaning?
Glad they are a blessing to you!

These lectures are a blessing to me...thank you very much for sharing with us!
Thank you.
Love the stuff about Luther
Pastors and preachers have the free access to such material and yet we still have weak men in the majority of pulpits.

It would have been good if he would have mentioned the Bible more than Spurgeon.
