World War Z: Phase One is part one of three of a new ArmA 3 miniseries. Phase One focuses on the secretive Alpha Teams commissioned by the US government to contain domestic zombie outbreaks and terminate threats with extreme prejudice. Their battle record is officially sealed for 150 years. Specter 1-5 deploys following a confirmed outbreak somewhere in Alaska. Their job is to terminate all existing biohazardous threats. Specter 1-5 is one of many teams viewers will get to see in action during this episode.
News Update:
Hey guys, long time no see. Thought I’d check in with a quick announcement I’ve been working on producing a three-part miniseries based off the book ‘World War Z’. The three-part miniseries will include the black ops initiative Phase One, The Great Panic, and the infamous Battle of Yonkers.
My mini-series will stay true and accurate to the book, whilst introducing flexibility in context of the books content to explore scenarios of what happened in the crisis that gripped the world. I will not be beefing up action events for heroic purposes but rather put on an impression of suspense and desperation with the individuals that were a part of the global catastrophe. I will be introducing a whole roster of new characters not mentioned in the book itself as well.
I should also mention that the mini-series will not follow the interview/documentation style, that would be probably the only inaccurate part about this. Work on the series has been underway for the past month, minutes wise I’ve only recorded and edited to up to about ten minutes worth of content and written up dozens of pages worth of drafts and brainstorming.
I hope it is up to satisfactory standard to have a decent World War Z ArmA machinima out there. I also hope to get to complete the first episode for all my subscribers to watch sometime in the future. I will be posting regular updates and previews as well. You should make actual WWZ battles like in the book. Like battle of Yonkers, or Ukraine when they gassed civilians, Germany when they abandoned civilians, USA's offensive, French catacombs, Chinese civil war, Indian bridge crossing.
