I'm so tired of people saying that the only reason Kiefer is famous is because of his, "famous daddy." That's a load of garbage! He is a talented guy who earned his place in Hollywood, without depending on his father's fame. That's one of the things I like about this guy.
Fun story, in between the time that Kiefer had dropped out of school and lived on the streets of Toronto until he called his parents, he had met my grandfather. My grandfather was a play director for one of the companies his older brother was working on a play in, so Kiefer would often during the day come in to sit and watch as they rehearsed. One day my grandfather went up to Kiefer and asked him if he wanted to be in a play, and he said no because he didn't want to follow in the steps of the rest of his family. My grandfather suggusted that Kiefer atleast try it, and he agreed. My grandfather sent him with a sound technician named Randy to a local audition studio and Toronto and demanded he get an audition despite not having an agent. They refused until they found out whose son he was, and Kiefer was given the part, of what part in what play my grandfather doesn't remember. Right after that was when he called his parents and told them he wanted to do acting. He tben went on to get the part of Bay Boy. Just a fun little story my grandfather likes to share whenever we see him on TV.
He's just sexy man, period . I like Scottie from 1969, Danny from Promise Land , and David from The Lost Boy's. I'm not crazy about Jack Bauer, so I guess I'm different, but it's good to be different. I'd give anything to be merried to kiefer Sutherland he makes me want to be a better person. We are 12 yrs apart, though . I love his eyes and voice he's very hypnotic. Kiefer deserves some happiness. I hope he finds a marriage that lasts and works for him, even if not me, lol . He's definitely my favorite actor. I've been buying all of his movies and reading what I can. I hope I get to meet him one day and have an easy conversation . I wish him the best !!!!
