With solid soaps, whenever I get them as gifts, I use them almost as bubble bath replacements! I hold it (and rub it together for some lather) under the tap for a bit and sometimes just dump it in the bath as it’s running and they create some lovely bubbles and some lovely smells too that way they don’t go to waste 🧼

I started using solid soap a couple years ago after watching a lot of Royalty Soaps videos and having decided to cut back on my plastic usage, and I love it! You can find some cute soap dishes, and there are so many small businesses making absolutely incredible looking and smelling soaps!

Oh, wow! I can't believe you're giving away the pins! I don't use bar soaps either, so I have a little collection of pretty and delicious smelling glycerin soap by my front door. It's a nice little olfactory treat for guests the moment they open the door.

Just put it in the bottom of your container (basket, bowl, wide mouth vase, whatever.) and decorate, the long lasting unscented foliage, as usual above. Or being that it is a collectable in it's own right it doesn't have to be hidden by the flowers. It could be on display in front or just to one side.

She said recently that she is going to stop doing the outtake compilations, i think it was due to just having to collect and keep track of tons of short clips over an extended period of time, then putting that all into a video, it just became too much effort, took up too much space on her computer, and was quite fiddly. Least I'm pretty sure that was the reason she gave?

I see someone commented about grating the soap for your baths. However I came to say that you can actually just turn it into liquid soap! Grate (or chop up small) and use a cheap pot (can't use it for anything else after) to put the soap into, add water, boil up for a few minutes and let cool. Once cool you can put it in your old plastic soap bottle or one you refill to reuse if you have one. There are lots of detailed instructions online but thought since you get a few in boxes it would actually be worth you knowing. ☺️
Buy yourself a soap saver bag, its a bag that you put the soap in and then you just use the bag like a loofa. So much easier and at that point theres’s basically no difference between solid and liquid soap.

I use solid soaps to wash my makeup brushes. Wet the brush, swirl it on the soap and then massage it into the bristles and/or swish it on my hand. (I am a makeup artist, so I have to wash a LOT of brushes).
I got a really nice soap as a gift. Loved the smell but can't use it because it dries my skin. Didn't want to chuck it out so I put it in my knicker draw😁

I usually put a soap bar under the mattress on the bed to avoid that my legs to cramp up, and it works. My grandmother told me that they used to do that in the old days, so I had to test it out and it works brilliant ☺️

I love solid soaps, but if you don't like them I have a random but possibly fun idea. Chop up the soap and mix it with some essential oils and water to make a "potion" to sweeten up your room. Put it in a glass bottle to make it look more magical. But please note: I have never tried this before, it's just an idea I came up with on the spot, so proceed with caution. You don't want to end up in the Hospital Wing!
my mum always had some cakes of Cashmere bouquet, lavender, in her draws..so much so that when I inherited her dressing table I too put the same soap in so that I had a whiff of mum whenever I open the draws...

I put the soap in the wardrobe to smell nice. Between towels or in the linen drawer.
You can use a cheese grater on the soap and make it into soap flakes to use

I think the first thing, the floss, was supposed to reference the “candy floss” sold at honeydukes that flosses your teeth while you eat it.
I put my solid soaps between my cloths to make them smell nice ^_^ (make sure to put some tissue paper around it to keep stains of your cloths)
