i’m amazed the keeper coach and even the keepers don’t get injured kicking at full power so repetitively.
Humans are tougher than you think..
it’s doing it out of nowhere that causes injury, if they’ve done it 5 times they can do it as many times as they want after that for a short while cus they’re fully stretched and the body prepares for it, if u go to smash a ball after doing no stretching or anything that’s what will injure u

How the hell does these keepers catch these balls going so fast at such pace without their wrists feeling like they're broke. Whenever I save a ball me hands are f'd afterwards
If you look closely most of them strap their wrists up under the gloves. But I’m sure they feel it!

@@leedscity6881 Yeah, obviously it has somewhat protection but even I've wore gloves and done a save and it still hurts so much (bare in mind thats after one powerful shot saved) they're doing like back to back.
@FootyPhotos it's a technique that GKs call 'Soft Hands'. If your hands are tense, you will feel it more, and you have less chance of holding onto the ball. Using the joints in your arm, shoulder, and hip to absorb the momentum of the ball should soften the impact and give you more control of the ball as you catch it. After doing this sort of training for many hours, your hands get used to impact too, therefore feeling it less.

@@molybdomancer195 there is a way to tellapart. it is called psxg, he underperformed, he got 6 more goals out of those shots than the avarage epl gk would have gotten.

I don’t get why the dropped Trafford when he’s a young and upcoming gk. It would be more beneficial for him to stay since he’s basically the next generation to take over Pickford once he’s fully done. By that time ramsdale and Henderson would be passed it.

pickford by far the best here so will most likely start every game, the other 3 don't seem as sure but likely won't play anyway so it's not to worry, probs take ramsdale as 2nd, he does have class but hasn't played much which you can tell, then 3rd choice doesn't matter as very unlikely to play so probs take Trafford as he is younger for future experience.

Butland should’ve came over Trafford, one chance for butland and he’d start week in week out for England.
Not really
He's much older than Trafford and is better than Traff now, but has much less potential. Trafford had a rough year but has the tools to be great with more experience and played in a much harder league than Butland did last year.
Bringing Butland as the 4th keeper just to get cut doesn't gain anything for the coaches or Butland himself. Whereas with Trafford, the coaches get nice look at him on a personal level with the 1st team and Trafford can benefit from the experience as he has more years ahead of him to develop.
@@falconpunch8734 but look at butland who absolutely saved rangers season and sure Trafford got experience from prem but butland has that and European football too
I know Trafford is younger what not but he hasn’t made his mark yet in proper football to be brought out in a competition we want to win .
@@jaysteveo9632 Yeah definitely, but butland still definitely shouldve came. RAMSDALE HAS BARELY PLAYED THIS SEASON, whereas butland has only missed one game (or two) for rangers this season so butland will have more sharpness and will be in better form. But regardless of ramsdale not playing this season because Southgate has picked him a few times, OF COURSE SOUTHGATE BRINGS HIM AGAIN… WHY, I know ramsdales great but still. Managing in football is about making tough desicions, Southgate dosnt do that.
