Yes, it took us many years to "complete" the garden, but as you say, a garden is never really finished. There are always things to improve, change, areas to re-plant and of course removing more grass :) And all that is the beauty of garden being a place to enjoy, to relax in and keep working in with love and joy. We have been on a garden tour of Japan and loved every second of it and I am a huge fan of Japanese Gardens. We will go to them wherever we go and will look for ones to visit around us.
