How the years unraveled in a flash -- first heard and sang this on a S&V (Schools and Varsity) camp at Kidds Beach (Eastern Province South Africa) in the mid-1960's. Often when I look up at the Heavens on a clear night (and far away from the city lights where I now live in Australia) and see the Lord's handiwork the song re-surfaces.
An old friend asked if I remembered this song. I said, in all honesty, I’d never heard of it. Liking the title, the first line, I looked it up and found this. Once I began to play it, I remembered it instantly. It has been stored in an unused file in my brain, probably for fifty or 60 years. As soon as I heard it, without any input from me it automatically transferred to a current file from which I can enjoy this lovely song. The human brain, the handiwork of God, a miracle provide free at conception! We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank you so much for posting this. The file that this song is now in won’t close and I’m not going to make it. Thank God for the miracle called mankind
Oh my, reading God s word this morning came across two words and this song came in my spirit. We also song this song in grade school. It lifted my spirit
Awesome!!! Grew up with this song!!! Came to me after reading my Our Daily Bread devotions this morning. Didn’t think I’d remember the words but I did! Then I found it here. As beautiful and impactful as ever!!!
I heard this sometime in the 70s, sung by a Youth fir Christ group in East London South Africa. I've never forgotten it, and often sing it to myself when I feel a bit low. I am now 78 years if age and I know I'll probably not have too many years left on this earthly plane.
Don't give up so easily, our Hope is in the Lord! You're not old! His Promises stand True and are settled in Heaven: Please read Psalm 91:16: - "With long life will I satisfy you and show you My salvation!"
He counts the number of the stars, He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power, His understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:4,5

When I am discouraged by human weaknesses, these truths remind me of our majestic , creator.
