Brainstorm: Sarah-Jayne Blakemore & Islington Community Theatre at Imagining the Future of Medicine

As part of its mission to promote access to the arts and sciences, the Royal Albert Hall hosted an historic event on Monday 21 April 2014, curating a spectacular and provocative programme of talks from world experts celebrating innovation, imagination, inspiration and their passion for a better future in health and medicine.
Hosted by Irish comedian and presenter Dara Ó Briain with special guest and TEDMED curator Jay Walker, Imagining the Future of Medicine also featured a performance from The Kaos Signing Choir for Deaf & Hearing Children.
Speaker bio
Sarah-Jayne Blakemore is a former TED speaker and studies the social brain (the network of brain regions involved in understanding other people) and how it develops in adolescents. While many still see adolescence as a source for jokes, Blakemore has found it to be a rich seam of research.

i’ve just finished directing a version of this play and it’s showing rn!! it’s part of a young directors project (i’m 16) and it’s honestly been so much fun
