How could all three die at the same time? Besides if it was carbon monoxide poisoning, doesn't that typically happen in a closed space like a garage?
Car might have had an exhaust leak. or after a long time fumes surround the car and recirculate back in. Thats why no one should ever take a nap in a running car.
@@drivingreview1578 if they decided to pull over and get some rest and kept the engine running for the AC that carbon monoxide has a way of sneaking up on you if it is a small leak under the floor board, but everyone is screaming "Foul play"

Yes an exhaust leak would cause it. A tiny hole in the exhaust system could cause it.
Something doesn't seen right about this... yes it's possible for a exhaust to enter the cabin of car but you can smell exhaust if it were that bad . ... and modern cars are sealed up pretty well. It's not likely a exhaust leak would do this.
Yeah I think they are possibly covering up some Fentanyl deaths here.

They weren't outside, they were in their car. Carbon monoxide poisoning from inside the cabin of a car is not unheard of.

This happens hundreds of times a year. People pull over to take a nap while the vehicle is still running, because it's too hot or cold outside, not even realizing they have an exhaust leak creeping into the cabin. It's odorless and deadly.

As a former stereo installer, I’ve seen many times when people would run wires incorrectly and compromise a gromet on the firewall, leaving it open. Additionally, some states don’t require safety inspections which increases the chances that a service member could be driving a dangerous vehicle. With a bad exhaust manifold or flange gasket, a compromised body to to faulty stereo/alarm installation or just rust holes in the body, along with windows up, A/C on recirculating mode, you could end up with excessive Carbon Monoxide inside the vehicle. This stuff is deadly, so once it kicks in, they could be too disoriented to wake up and figure it out. It is not an impossible scenario.

It doesn't make sense, if they stopped to get gas and were fine, how could all 3 marines die ???? If 1 marine starting slumping over, the other 2 marines would've taken him out of the car for help !!!!! I didn't see anything about that they were sleeping in the car and if they were, the car would've been turned off and no carbin monoxide !!!!!! I believe that they were murdered !!!! The camera's at the gas station have to be checked !!!! This is definitely a cover-up !!!!!!!

I'm a Marine Vet and I went to Military School at Camp Lejeune in the late 80s. I remember going out with your buddies partying and trying to sober up before going back through the base gates ..My theory is that they were partying and decided to catch some sleep..and with the hot weather lately they more than likely had the windows up and the AC on...for an extended period of time..just my opinion.
They knew something they shouldn't have known.

Marine's are not soldiers, first of all, second, carbon monoxide has NO ODOR, 3, they didn't realize it was leaking inside the vehicle.

Yeah, no. Something isn't right. I Googled this story since this one was so incomplete. They were found 30 mins from the base. You can't be so tired that you can't make it 30 mins to make it back. There were 3 of them. Someone could have switched off with the driver if the was that tired. There's more to this story but we'll never hear it from this station.

Ya that explanation for cause of death, does not add up. Plus, it takes longer than this for toxicology reports to come back. That's ALWAYS what they tell us right? How was this done, on 3 no less, Marines so quickly? I know a preliminary report can be done quickly tho. HOWEVER, They don't die from CMP at the same rate either. No two ppl breath at the same rate. Talking, singing and moving around involves more oxygen usage. They would get sleepy first. You'd think one would get sleepy, then another and ya know..maybe notice they ALL FELT SLEEPY and got the heck out of the car? IDK...just seems fishy to me.
This is just so sad. I'm an Okie and my heart goes out to the friends and family of the Marine from Seminole, Oklahoma. I grew up on Seminole street...in another town, but in Oklahoma. My best friend growing up had relatives in Seminole and they were always going there on wknds. Nice small town. RIP young Marines.

THREE what appear to be happy young men serving and from appearances proud to be doing so ..between 19 and 23 just casually parked outside a convenience store then proceed to die of carbon monoxide..🤔 in the heat of the summer even at night it's warm 🥵 guarantee most people especially young men.. at least one would of had his window down, carbon monoxide is produced by the exhaust...even with a broken one how the hell would it have gotten inside the car...I'm sorry this...3 men, in a PUBLIC place, carbon monoxide poisoning... something isn't sitting right....at all. Theres Red Flags all over this.. great big wavy ones with bells added.
I hope they R.I.P and the families get the answers as to why and how....and i mean the Right answers...not some conjured up bull just to keep them happy and quiet, and NO i do not trust the establishment whether domestic or military 😑

The only way an idling modern car/SUV can get carbon monoxide into the cab, would be to put a 2" hose from the exhaust pipe into the car's window or hole under the car into cab. First they would start coughing , even if asleep, then they would wake up and open the doors and get out, before dying of carbon monoxide. They need to do an autopsy on the 3 men to see what killed them. Simple solution.

You can die of carbon monoxide poisoning outside - in the car with your windows rolled up if the car is running. Our neighbor was heating up her car one morning to go to work - no garage available - and was found inside the car with the engine running.
I wonder if they went in the gas station. It is unbelievably hot in the south. I'm in Oklahoma. I won't go any where without windows up and ac. If carbon monoxide was leaking into the car during the trip they would have been drowsy. Maybe just thought they were really tired. Once they stop (with AC running) the carbon monoxide could have become thicker. Was the key in the ignition. Turned on or off. Going till out of gas? Any video of them leaving car? I can see how it might happen but not without having some questions answered and more details. I'm so sorry for the families. The pain of losing any loved one is unbearable but when it's a child it's beyond unbearable. May God comfort you and help you find peace and answers.
