The curse with buff if you got no damage work as long your hp bar is undamage, so slap some armor because damage to armor is not count as "hurting the player"
Been running a fun poison build for the past few days I'd recommend (sorry if you've already done this setup before haha didnt feel like going through and checking) but you do 4-5 lvl 1 lasers (depending on if you have volley+ or volley++) with fall and autonavigate+ (the autonavigate being + is very important, if you dont have then use track) ramp up your damage with rebound, split, and multishot (best dps seems to come from an equal ratio of those 3). The rest of the slots use for adding as much poison as you can. Since it's a poison build capacity stones don't affect your damage so just throw them in if you can/want to, same for energy saver if you're burning through mana too quickly. I typically try to get featureless for the wand, but anything that will be dropped to 0 cd or as low as possible from the lasers is good.
