- Today we start our journey into The Center - ARK Survival Ascended newest map! It has been totally revamped from the older ARK Survival Evolved version into the new ARK Survival Ascended Unreal Engine 5 version!

Join me on my ARK Survival Ascended playthrough as we travel throughout all of the ARK Survival Ascended maps in our gameplay journey to tame new creatures that will join us on our adventure, explore the hidden treasures of the ARKs & to take on the bosses that guard them. There are many different maps that will release in ARK Survival Ascended that mirror their older counterparts from ARK Survival Evolved including this one, ARK The Center Ascended!
It will be an exciting journey to see ARK The Center Ascended in an upgraded graphical state from what it was as ARK The Center Evolved using the new Unreal Engine. We will be doing some vanilla ARK Survival Ascended gameplay as well as modded ARK Survival Ascended gameplay throughout our journey as well as a ton of base building so sit back, relax & join me on our journey in our ARK The Center Ascended gameplay!

The Center is a free add-on for ARK: Survival Ascended that includes a massive new map for survivors to explore, nearly double the size of the playable geography of the standard ARK Island landscape making it about 70 sq. kilometers. The Center complements the current ARK biomes with a rich, hand-drawn Tolkien-esque aesthetic. Filled with stunning lighting effects, lava rivers, giant picturesque mountains, misty floating islands, ancient underground ice caves, and more

I see there are some really nice high places for me to fall of on the center… **starts to craft lots of railings** Your base is going to look great, of course! 😊

Dude you’re so lucky, I went to the same obelisk to get my stuff and had 3 high level raptors to deal with. Died 5 times trying to get my stuff 😂
Luckily the Ceras weren't too much of an issue with the Trikes around
@@BemoGuinness I tamed a low level moschops got him close and jumped when the raptors attacked. They took off after him, when they got back to me SkyQuake was waiting on em lol. Looking forward to this series!!!
Are you not able to spawn in with stuff on your body?

You can only do that on servers. Single player you have to move items through obelisk only as anything on you at upload will drop in a bag at the upload spot. There is a pop up that will inform you of that as well when you upload your character
Bemo, you are by far my favorite Ark player. I look forward to your videos daily. You were instrumental in getting me started in ASA after a dabble in ASE. Keep up the good work, Brother.

Beautiful map for sure. May I suggest possibly having a spare flyer stored somewhere at the bottom of the cliff/mountain just in case you find yourself needing to get back up
Yea I plan on setting something up like that because we all know it's gonna happen where I fall off soon 😄🙈

So glad you're playing! For your base location, or at least an outpost, please consider just south of the swamp. It's up on a huge flat ridge overlooking it and there's a ramp up to it to the east. It's pretty centrally located as well. At least check it out. :)
I have let the channel members decide where to build at this time already and they wanted to see a snow base

Good start man, I spawned in near blue to find it being guarded by a level 90 alpha raptor, it was a shaky start for sure. This map does look great though, couple of crashes already, but I’m sure it’ll settle
Yea I had a few crashes the first day as well but next video went for about 1.5 hour record time plus about 2 hours of farming before it and no crashes so hopefully it was just some new map loading issues

Nice spot man. I will say there are some pros and cons on this…. On ASE the center was one of my least favorite maps because of how bland it was, and though it’s gotten a great facelift, other areas I enjoyed before aren’t what they used to be. Overall I still feel like it’s gonna rank lower than a lot of maps for me… but I’m really hoping it proves me wrong! Aberration certainly did, started to like the map toward the end of the play through.
Yea it will just hold things over until Aberration opens up then will move there. It's just like a slightly upgraded The Island map
There is a very nice water pin spot on the other side of blue ob and it also makes a very nice base spot and it is loaded with resources

I like it! Unfortunately, unless they fixed it, you will have snow inside your base, on everything.
Love the amount of drops around there.
How are you going to get water for drinking and greenhouse?
Hmm will have to see if the snow actually goes away when I get the roof on. If not then unfortunately will have to move out of the snow area
You can stack the water reservoirs up on top of each other. Also, the water tower from the frontier pack.

Honestly, that little rock outcroppoing looking over the lake in the redwoods is probably where I'll build. It's up jigh and the water is probably deep enough for water tame breeding and holding.
It's where you went for the blue drop just north of where you had your ASE tree base.
It's a nice area but a ton of creatures on the ground
True, a challenge and a risk but I think it will be worth it.
Hope they fixed the snow issue cause I really do like that location bossman.
Did some testing and I see what you mean about the snow. It is still bugged but might look ok still as it was just some on the floor and walls
The center had the biggest glow up
The map looks amazing! ...sadly I don't see any fireflies at night, surely miss those. Check out the new Pyromane, they are awesome!
I am not interested in them due to the way they are making single Dinos P2W unfortunately

No point complaining about the fog on this map, in ASE that's all it was known for, always being foggy. It was the reason the Fog Off mod was created ...

Nice video! What mod are you using to show the text when gathering like ASE?
I'm currently not using mods. It's one of the settings for notifications you need to set to "Default" instead of "Minimal" (can't remember the exact setting name)
U should make outpost in every biom and then have a huge base in the center

There are on all maps except Fjordur. I was waiting to get the flying murder kitten surprise 😄🙈
You can find both the R type, and the basic Thyla on Fjordur as well.

Oh should have built on the iceberg in the lake. Water pen and base all in the same place. Would have been awasome. Build a bridge to the berg

I’d find more fun to start fresh with no map transfers. I find it more fun than just having all endgame stuff from other maps.
I did that for almost 5k hours in ASE and have no want to do that all over again. I use to start fresh without anything but my character on each map
Hey Bemo, I'm intrigued to know what you think of the new paid doc creature? Its basically a slightly tweaked Shadowmane.
I think it's a terrible idea. Selling skins and stuff like the Frontier pack for building parts is fine but there shouldn't be paid dinos for $5 usd each. It would be different if it was included in a pack but not single dinos. Terrible decision
@BemoGuinness I totally agree with you! It's a very slippery slope, and I hope people don't fall for the FOMO trap. Especially because you can encounter these creatures, but can't tame them unless you pay. Ridiculous!
Don’t plan on playing on the center for at least a month that way they can fix whatever problems pop up, and definitely ready for your adventure on the center!

Do you have special cryopods that work without a fridge around?
You can change the option to release cryo pods without the need of a cryo fridge in the ini files.
Just ini edits to allow it but you have to be on PC Steam version to do it
Bemo so I’m fixing to swap from console to pc but I’m realizing I really have no clue on what to buy so I was wondering what kind of set up do you have and do you suggest it or what should I get different?
The main thing is get it with a graphics card that is a 40xx series so you can take advantage of Fame Generation & DLSS as without that ARK with run very very bad. All my PC setup is listed here: www.youtube.com/@bemoguinness/about

Hey bemo I got my pc with everything we talked about and was able to do all my stack multipler the only one I’m kinda lost in is the cryo fridge ones I couldn’t did them in my game ini files or the game user ini files I was just checking to see if was looking in the wrong spot or if I was doing it wrong
You need to add theses lines into the GameUserSettings ini:
DisableCryopodEnemyCheck=True
DisableCryopodFridgeRequirement=True
Oh ok is that also where I do the 100% imprint
This has always been my least favorite map but glad it got some improvements.
