Thank you for the video, normally the error message for a door switch is (dE), funny thing is research on the Internet state it is a object between the agitator and basin. Strange that defy uses e6 for that fault.

Sir. What should you do in case where machine does not give you an error but not spinning. It washes and rinses well but not drying? Same machine on video
First make sure it's draining all the water in the machine and if yes lay the machine on its side and put it direct to spin check underneath to see if the drain motor is pulling(black box with a wire on one side) if it pulls then it's okay Next option is to replace the water pressure/level sensor It might be that it's not telling the board that water is finished in the drum
Hi. I tried the second method & it worked twice. I then bought a new switch. Worked like 3 times & now it continuously says E6 when you spin. What could be the issue ? Thanks
Lint filter is located on the side walls of the drum so u need to locate the tabs to pull it out gently press the tabs while pulling once it's off you definitely will figure out the way forward Then the drain filter you nned to locate the drain pump cover and turn the round cover anticlockwise to losen and once it's loose you will see all the dirt collected
E1 normally refers to the water Inlet faulty check your tap and inlet pipes. Remove the pipe from the machine and clean up the filter at the connector valve if it doesn't work it might be the damaged valve or pcboard
I'm sorry should have paid more attention. But if you can help me with my LG I'd greatly appreciate it.i had some trouble bf with my inlet valves they have like 5 sylinoids on one rail I guess but I've reset machine and can't afford another right now

Hi there if it's refusing to work you can bypass the door switch by cutting the 2 wires connecting to the switch and join them together

My Defy top loader fully automatic has no error code but won't drain water or spin. Checked door switch looks alright.

Hi Greg there's a possibility that your power supply on the pcb has failed and you need to check most probably the transformer and or power IC
Mine is saying E6 then I change the door switch but still the problem is still remaining.. Plis tell me a selector can cause the E6 code???
