Why aerate when it's hot if oxygen is getting vaporized ? Seems pretty wasteful, especially if you are aerating from a oxygen tank... if that even do anything at all... I'd also think some weird reactions could take place... oxygen is oxidizer (duh) and heat accelerate some chemical reactions...

Plus, you are probably losing even more of the aroma from the malt or hops additions.
