- Один из выдающихся саксофонистов современности Арно Борнкамп даёт концерт в Российской Академии Музыки им. Гнесиных. Исполняется «Концерт» для альт саксофона и фортепиано Александра Глазунова. Аккомпанирует Лауреат международных конкурсов - Олеся Шерлинг.

Концерт организован Театром "Школа музыкального искусства" под руководством Юрия Шерлинга при поддержке Российской Академии Музыки имени Гнесиных и Международного благотворительного фонда Владимира Спивакова.
One of the greatest saxophone players of our time Arno Bornkamp performing Alexander Glasunow's "Concerto for alto sax and piano" at the Russian Academy of Music in Moscow. Accompanied by Winner of International Competitions - Olesya Sherling.
The concert organized by Theatre "School of musical art" conducted by Yuri Sherling in association with Russian Academy of Music supported by the International Charitable foundation of Vladimir Spivakov.

From the faces he's making, I'm guessing he's playing with a Vandoren no. 5 reed xD Amazing playing though!

Angelo Borg I think he used the Vandoren al3. He sounds crazy good. I hadn't listened to him in a while
Wow! I tried AL3 but I felt limited in terms of projection and brightness, that is, the sound was too narrow in my opinion. So I decided to stay with the S90

Angelo Borg yeah I have been back and forth between those two forever. I just can't get the sound that is best for me with the s90. I wish I could. But everyone is different. He sounds so different to others that use the al3 which is incredible like Otis Murphy who has a completely different sound and Claude delangle as well. There is a related video which shows Arno uses the al3 on a vandoren video
Angelo Borg fun fact: at a recital in late 2017, Arno said that he uses a size 4 Legere as well!

Looks like it. With what looks like a Buffet Prestige alto.
I think he sounds great, he just makes the mistake of taking the piece way too fast, like sure there are some fast parts to the piece but I feel like he rushes it at times
...
