Hi Pat, thanks for the fantastic content! I found the example in this video particularly helpful. Would it be possible to share the dataset used in this example? It would be great to follow along with the calculations. Thank you!
Nadira Bag .I apologize for my delayed response. You ask a good question! I think the LPM has the advantage of being simpler to implement and more intuitive. But this can't be all there is to it :)
I want to run a descriptive statistic before logit regression. Since I want to run logit regression, I changed my dependent variables to 0 and 1, thus when I run the descriptive, should I use the original data or 0 and 1?
You can equally use the input command in stata to enter the data manually and follow what is being done. Or rather just type directly into stata spreadsheet
You can use the logic model in excel if you manually alter the equation to best fit your data by minimizing the sum of squared differences between your prodiced probabiltiy from the modle and the actual binary y outputs. its a pain to do though.... haha
This was amazing! Best, and clearest explanation out of my 8 weeks in STATA class haha.
Thank you
This was simply amazing!! Can you pls share a probit model video as well?
Thank you so much Pat , you've helped with my exam revision , your explanation is straightforward and to the point
that’s the best explanation video i’ve seen so far :)
Thanks.Mr.pat for your excellent explanation about critical econometrics lecture.
Thank you Pat Obi. This is an amazing explanation
your explanation is clairvoyant.
Great job showing why OLS does not really with with binary dependence
Thank you! It was easy to understand with your example.
Superb ..... Thanks for sharing the knowledge ..... Really you are a good teacher .... :)
It was an amazing explanation in an easy way. Thank you
This was just brilliant!
nice presentation!

thank you this vidio more precise and clear from the other
Thank you so much, this video really helped me with my research project.
Thanks.. Very good explanation ,waiting more videos..
You're welcome Arif
Thanks Pat
Thank you so much. Am so grateful
Thank you so much, Professor, i enjoyed the lesson
Great Job Sir. Please do one on Multinomial Logistic Regression
Wonderful video. Thank you
Is this the same as 'logit-linear models'?
Thank you very much. This video is very informative and easy to follow.
You saved me, I have exams tomorrow and our Prof is shit
Thank you for sharing.
theoretically, how would we choose between LPM and the logit model? Thank you

Thank you for your reply , so much appreciated :)
Thank you for the good explanation. Is there a way we can make those predictions (after logit) using stata rather than using excel?

Use original data for descriptive stats.
@@PatObi tq so much
It is an wonderful explanation ..
Can you please share the Dataset so we can do practice as well ?? Thank you in advance?
Will post data

To much helpful.
Thankyou Sir. Very nicely explained.
hey sorry…on the interpretation part is it a must we use 1% increase? and is it appropriate to use other word like 1unit??
Using the terminology „1% increase“ is critical.
Thanks so much
Good🙏
