Just watched the film yesterday in the theater and it was beautiful! I love the way the story sneaks up on you through the layered scenes of people just living life and their daily motivations. Can't wait to watch more films from Rohrwacher.
I haven't stopped thinking about this film since I saw it 4 days ago and that's what a good film should do. I love the direction that Josh O'Connor is going in his career since the delightful Durrells and his performance here was a treat. He seems to put such thought into his choice of film. Well done to all involved in this film and I look forward to Alice Rohrwacher's next work.
