Hey man, I just wanted to say thank you for putting out these videos. Not only are you a 1 in a million youtuber who isn't super annoying like everyone else, but your videos are also extremely educational. As a noob angler who just started fishing last summer, I don't know much about fishing. Where to look, what to use, when to fish, etc... All I know is that I love fishing. But since I started watching your videos, even though you don't necessarily explicitly teach, I've still learned so much by just watching what you do. And since seeing a couple of your videos and doing what you do I've actually started catching some! So I again just wanted to say thank you and I hope you continue putting great content like this on here for us to enjoy

Sitting here on A Friday night crying tears into my whiskey and Coke. The tears would turn to ice except the salt content won’t let them. Gazes at his fishing rods, reels and kayak and longs for the season to change. Thanks for reminding me of what I am waiting for. Great vid as always.

I watch alot of his content, one of, if not the best, river kayak fishing channel on UA-cam. And I never really noticed til now just how accurate of a cast he is.

It's been said before, but your casting skills are sick. I mean sitting on a yak and how you put your lure within a couple inches of the bank time and time again. It's impressive for sure and the angles you throw even with hanging tree limbs are right on. You make it look so easy. Throwing with a open face and not a casting reel, I think is much more difficult to be super consistent on accuracy. Love your videos. Your calming voice, fishing skills and you always catch really nice size fish is always fun to watch. Keep them coming in 2021!

I watch a ton of UA-cam, especially fishing and this is by far the best content out there when it comes to fishing. The most chill dude ever, great content, excellent fishing, and no BS...wish you could put out 10 videos a day. You deserve 10 million subs.
I agree that his fishing vids are awesome. One huge advantage is the clear water. Some of those shots of huge pike slamming his lures under water are amazing.

You normally do the dirty dangle with a Frog Lure. You just dangled the BBZ1 Rat and BAM!! A smallie smashed it. Way cool.

Man you can make some extremely precise cast. I live 25 miles from Galveston/Trinity bay so I saltwater fished (besides gar and catfishing the Trinity) and you don't really need that level of accuracy. I've just really started freshwater fishing in the past year. I love you videos and if you ever get near Houston I'd be happy to put you on some big alligator gars.

Matt, it’s no wonder the smallies bust that rat...it absolutely looks alive coming through the water. I think I’m going to pick up a couple of those for this summer. Love all your videos but there’s not anything like smallmouth fishing. I’m hoping you do another smallmouth video sometime with the black 1/4 oz. Strike King Bitsy Bug...that was some wild fishing catching those smallies around grassy banks‼️👊🏻🎣👍🏻

You are by far my favorite channel. I re-watch most of your videos. UA-cam is getting crowded with super annoying fishing channels with even more annoying hosts. I love the way you keep it simple and aren't demanding I "subscribe and smash that like button". I am fairly new to kayak fishing, but watching you has taught be a lot and inspired me to get out there and try new bodies of water. Keep up the great work!!

The last time, I was using a TRD pbj, and caught a bunch of catfish. We've never been to North Dakota, I was wondering if you would be so kind to take us out fishing with you.
