      In 2014's event 15 Davidi Kitai, who won the bracelet, twice called with queen high with all five cards on the table and was right.
      I'm genuinely disappointed these weren't the actually BEST hands, some of them are only here because they are controversial.

  • @paulsutherland1475
    @paulsutherland1475 3 місяці тому

    Having worked as a floorman for 8 years, #85 was the wrong decision from the floor. He should have been given the option to call,raise or fold once the mistake was made correct. It's considered" new action". The floormen here doubled-down on the initial decision probably just to save-face. I've never seen any poker rulebook that says you're forced to call with a discrepancy in the chip count

    • @XaviRonaldo0
      @XaviRonaldo0 3 місяці тому +2

      He didn't argue it until he saw he was way behind.
      I do agree though that with no other action possible he should've been allowed to change his mind if he wished.

    • @paulsutherland1475
      @paulsutherland1475 3 місяці тому +2

      @@XaviRonaldo0yes he did argue it when he realized he was behind.. Yet, he didn't know he was behind when the floor manager made his decision. It's obvious that in this instance, the guy was calling even if the floor had given him another chance to call or fold. For the floor to make the statement " if you're calling 17 you're calling 22" isn't a very strong argument in tournament play

    The bluff by Moneymaker is a fine hand I guess, but #1? C’mon…Moneymaker raises him after the turn: ok yeah probably so, he had a spade draw and had a king too (remember they are playing heads up here) Farha checks the river, because on a board with a flush and straight possible, all he had was a pair of nines. Think it’s safe to say any bet there would have likely caused Farha to fold. That hand could be top 50 I suppose but not #1 in my opinion

      I think it's about the importance of the hand. Moneymaker was a nobody, an amateur... and he bluffed off his entire stack heads up against a stronger player and then proceeded to win. It was the greatest sunrun ever, and poker blew up in popularity in large part because of that hand.

    I know it's a cool hand but why would the AA vs AA be ranked that high? It pretty much played itself. And sure, it's a hand that put Cary Katz... *looks at channel... I'm sorry, never mind, please keep up the good work

    Griffin benger was kind of a loser that hand too. Very soft response. Kassouf is annoying for sure, but to call it "verbal abuse" is...something. Just let the clown talk and put his chips in the middle.

    What's the difference between "Top 100 Best Hands of All Time" and, simply, "100 Best Hands of All Time" besides one unnecessary, commonly misused word?
