I have been using this vacuum cleaner every day for 3 years. It's just rubbish. The wheels are like in toys for children, after 2 months the switch breaks and this applies to all Starmix models as well.
I have been using one of these for four weeks withe Metabo LS 450 paint mechanical stripper, it does not have enough suction to completely pull the generated dust, so what good are fancy filter ratings when the product is blown into the air by the tool? It Typical of German designs it's over complicated and just weird. This character talks for 2/3rds of this vid saying nothing, all vacuums this expensive are wet/dry, all wet/dry have auto stop. It has a super thick power cable that you do not need and is just bulk, and and the red plastic "hanger" for it is flimsy and will not last. It weighs 40lbs empty. It has a dust plug for the hose connection (which is a pain to connect) but the hepa bags are open plastic that spew captured material all over the place whenever you open the container to check how full they are. He does not demo the foolish latch for the top cover, which is actuated in a very weird way by the panel you see that carries the "Metabo" logo, after you turn the little coin slot keyway - why? Did I mention there is no way to wrap the hose around the machine to carry the whole thing up stairs? Not a fan, and it cost about $1000.
