    I’ve been working one week on Tilly. I just wasn’t happy with her ears. Thanks to you, I realize I was knitting it fair isle when I should have used Intarsia technique. I had made one ear, frogged it and then made the two. I’m off to frog those and restart those ears using the correct technique. Thank you. You are very talented.

    I can't believe you are a beginning knitter. You're an amazing knitter. I've knit many animals from Louise Crowther's book. I'm sure you're aware she has a new release coming out in mid May too. I was just in Vancouver (born and raised there actually). One nice thing, the weather is great for providing a wide range of projects to knit from cozy warm knits for winter to lightweight cool knits for summer and everything in between. By the way, love the closing with the beautiful piano playing!

    • @SeedlingStitch
      @SeedlingStitch  2 роки тому

      I didn’t know that Louise Crowther is releasing a new book! Thanks for letting me know! It’s sunny at the moment in Vancouver but a sudden hail hit us just on Sunday and Monday. It was scarily fun. I’m glad you liked my piano. I’m playing a different piece in my each episode now.😊

    You are such a talented young woman! What you have knit does not look like projects from a new knitter. I really like how you have jumped in to transforming patterns to making them your own. And when I heard you playing the antique piano I was amazed at the musical talent you have. Wow! The little tabby cat at the end of your podcast looks just like the one I had. He was a stray who we adopted, and he died 2 years ago, but he lived to be 22!!

I have 2 cats as well, they are jet black! I can't wait to see your next episode! I am currently knitting socks... with coordinating cuffs, heels and toes. I am going to the yarn shop today and hope to get some yarn for a shawl. I'm thinking about knitting the Opus shawl from Maxim Cyr. Have REALLY enjoyed your podcast. I enjoyed your podcast very much! I especially like your Holst Garn cardigan well done! On a side note, please, please try to stop using cardboard boxes to store your knitting! Cardboard has a tendency to attract insects like carpet beetles. They love munching on wool and for some reason they also like rattan baskets and cardboard... (No need to ask me how I figured this out but sadly I did. It's not fun to get an infestation, trust me on this!) I have now switched to only using plastic baskets for my WIPs and nylon zippered storage bins for my FOs and stash.
