I think that type of success comes from being a highly acclaimed artist whose audience are not the masses, but the people who enjoy this type of music. Obviously everyone wants to be known by a lot of people, but that doesn’t always make someone a better artist. But yeah, she’s fenomenal, also Jessie Ware has an incredible style and still doesn’t have the recognition it deserves.
This woman is giving me 2006-2010 indie pop. She's giving me Ladyhawke, she's giving me Yelle, she's even giving me The Ting Tings and CSS and I love all of it.

@jan_nnn I've never heard of "Ricky" before. Just for fun, I listened to a few songs. Not bad, but there is absolutely no crazy charisma and wild energy here like Allie X, so I wouldn’t compare them. Everyone finds and listens to what they like, so there is no point in arguing here.
