@PlottingTheDownfall I saw them at the L.A. Forum in 81-82, we were running a lil bit late. When we got inside the building they were opening the show with Hells Bells. They had 2 giant bells on stage and when we heard them we ran to our seats....It was a great show. I'll never forget Brian Johnson on Angus's shoulders while Angus was tearing it up!! One of my top fav concerts of all time....💚🎸

Duct taped a big-ass cassette player to my bmx bike with a fresh set of D batteries. Off I went into the night with the wind in my hair, music blasting, dogs barking and neighborhood house lights turning on. For the next 3-4 hours felt like I was on top of the world. 🌑 🕛🚴‍♂🤘

Honestly the best warm up is just getting into the zone with each other. Unless you're playing very difficult music, which they of course didn't,* you don't need some 10 minute muscle stretching.
Arguably his leads were challenging for him considering his size and his choice of guitar/set up. He definitely didn't do himself any favors with it. I used to think he was a slouch when it came to playing (NOT his performance 😂) until one day I realized how tiny he is. Being that I have played a similar setup on the same guitar I knew it wasn't the best for leads even with medium hands. By best I mean easiest to play. Higher action and medium - large strings do produce a different sound that's subjectively better. Either way those faces he makes were apparently legit. I assumed they were contrived but he was genuinely working hard sometimes. In a live setting it takes balls and skillf to play near your limits.
I wonder if he ever played on a Jr guitar in private. Definitely more his size. Dude could probably legit shred on one.

KK and Glenn also had to be entertainers. Malcolm could just focus on hist rhythm playing while locking in with Rudd who's right next to him all night. He can easily see Rudd and brother Angus. Glenn and KK were usually far apart and not seeing each other.
AC/DC were more about the groove than Priest. Also, Priest played precise metal with no improvising. Angus didn't have to play so tight, and so could play loose with the rythym. And by loose I just mean naturally.
So the Angus Bros win on 'connected with each other'. But they couldn't play metal like Priest. It would be cool to hear AC/DC do some Priest tracks live that are similar in style to AC/DC. Like Steeler, Rock Forever, Delivering the Goods, Evil Fantasies, Don't Go, Hot Rockin, Devil's Child, You Take it All the Way, Rapid Fire. What else? Living After Midnight. No. Too obvious. @@rob-robi

Hell is real!!! Evidence? I’ve got scientific evidence too, but first psychology!
You cannot out psychologize the Bible for God not to throw you into hell for all eternity. In other words, you cannot come up with a good enough excuse here and now, so you will not be able to on judgment day. If you say you did not want to be born, God is going to say you should’ve been born again, that means become a Christian so that’s not gonna work. And there are no other excuses try to think of one. So now you know for the first time in your life, that the Bible is smarter than you and it is a steel trap, smarter than all of mankind, What should you do then? So at least investigate and look to see that these things are true, because right now you just learned the Bible is smarter than you, and you will be accountable for your life on judgment day before God!
Prophecy, the Bible is 27% prophecy, that’s future history written in advance. God‘s really sticking his neck out to get it cut off if he’s wrong, but he hasn’t been wrong about the thousands of prophecies that were fulfilled, so he’ll be right about the end of the world prophecies as well and you’ll have no excuse on judgment day for not looking for truth!
Caveat: you cannot look for God in times of chaos says Isaiah 45:19, so you better do it now. In other words,You’ll be too worried about your own survival when chaos hits, than your eternal destiny!
Statistic probability of 40 writers writing the Bible with zero margin of deviation, proves God wrote the Bible through the 40 writers!
      God authored the Bible!
DNA does not auto encrypt, the code writer is outside of the code of the 3300000,000,000 lines of computer code in the human genome of our DNA! So who wrote the code to such sophistication?
1,000,000 seconds is 12 days, 1,000,000,000 seconds is 32 years! That’s the difference between 1 million and 1 billion!
One person’s DNA could fill the Grand Canyon up to 50 times full of books. John 21:25 “I suppose everything Jesus did, the world wouldn’t have enough room for the books telling of it.“ this verse would be fulfilled!
Psalm 139:16 “in my members you have written many books“!

I first heard of ACDC back in the early 80s when my sister brought home the Back in Black album. I remember getting yelled at by my parents when I would play it on our Grundig stereo console we got in Germany when stationed overseas. I was so taken away with it I would go to the record store and look for some of their other albums. I would save up my money doing chores and working in tobacco to get the opportunity to buy them. Enter my first paid for album, If You want Blood, You Got it. Soon after that Highway to Hell and Powerage. I was hooked. Back then the thrill of buying an album, not only listening to it but looking and the pictures and literature. That was the only visual we had at the time. Not at our fingertips today. I was very special as my first concert, Fly on the Wall tour Nov 17, 1985. During for Those About to Rock, the cannons were so loud a ceiling tile, or something fell from the ceiling down to the center of the arena. It was torn up into pieces by the crowd. Wild! My ears rang for the next 3 days! Over the years I've been to several shows if they came within a 2-3-hour drive. Even had a back-to-back show in two different arenas. Took a little longer than usual to get my voice back. Sad to say my last show tour was for Black Ice Dec 18, 2008. I almost went to one back in 2016, but just didn't feel right. Age, Axle I don't know. I certainly have done my part though and what a ride it has been. I wish I was old enought to have seen Bon.

The second time he was even nicer and very humble. The situation was unique and I didn't ask questions about the band much. We talked more about his yard, which my friend used to cut and maintain. Anyway he seems super nice and he's known around Sarasota Florida for supporting the local music scene and helping people. I was behind his house fishin' for snook under his dock from a boat, with his landscaper. It was pretty cool.

This is why today's music is crap. Kids get the entire library of world music for a $10 subscription to Spotify. Today's artists rely on computer and non-musical options to create the same sounds. You had to work you butt off to buy one album which you really enjoyed.

    • @comfortablynumb9342
      @comfortablynumb9342 2 місяці тому

@@billl1127 I agree and I will add that "album" doesn't mean as much now. It's possible for a band to post new songs without going through the whole process of getting physical copies made. So it seems like it's easier in a way. That means people might put less effort into a song and people who really don't have much talent can be on the same platforms as "bigger" artists.
One thing I really hate in a lot of new music is the synthetic auto tune voices. And what auto tune does to the music too. "Perfect" has no soul, and it's worse when it actually sounds like a synthesiser. In the 70's Alan Parsons used a voice synth on The Raven, but it was new and he really modified the voice a lot. It was cool. But new music (R and B, and Hip Hop especially) has a lot of voices that just sound fake and I feel like they're covering up the fact that they can't actually sing in tune. I can't stand it.
Anyway, I think we're probably on the same page. Sorry for the rant.

This video was taken on the day of my birth. You know I grew up around stuff like that. I miss the smell of old cigarettes, smoke and metallic guitar, strings and chords and amplifiers and old leather upholstery man. They’ll never be a time like that ever again, it’s pretty surreal to see Because I can still smell those things and feel that time. Even though I was just a young baby.

RIP roasting in phosphorus which is brimstone which burns at 5000°! They are in hell and will never get another chance to get out!
Hell is every movie never made: no happy ending and no escape! when most all movies, mock God !

Malcolm used to play the entire set from beginning to end, as practice at every gig they did. Never missed it. It became more and more important to him as his health started to fail because he was fearful he would zone out. That’s what I call dedication (knowing he was going to have to do it all again in a few hours).

I absolutely love this footage and improvising. I think the best material was with Bon, but playing wise, this is close to AC/DC in their prime. Mal and Angus totally ripped it in the 80's. It's like the longer Angus's hair got, the better he played. Just listen to the solo in Chase the Ace or Jailbreak in Paris 88'. These guys were firing on all cylinders. Then they release The Razors Edge and are catapulted into the stratosphere once again and where they remain to this day.
