These sweetened condensed milk cookies are with dried apricots, that makes these cookies extra special and extra yummy! When creating this recipe, little did we know how adding some dried apricots to these condensed milk cookies would create the utmost balanced and beautiful flavour and texture. We absolutely love adding condensed milk to a cookie recipe, as the ingredient, being so yummy and luscious, adds a lot of delicious flavour. So, all in all, this is not our condensed milk recipe, and, certainly, won't be our last! Each cookie is super soft and little pieces of dry apricots make this wonderful dessert chewy and flavourful. Baking these easy cookies is an absolute pleasure. They are great for a holiday cookie box. We also love that they are very light and airy as they are cookies without butter. Awesome! Ingredients:
1 cup (250 ml) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 2/3 cups (380-400 g) all-purpose flour
250 g / 0.55 lbs of thoroughly washed dried apricots
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-25 minutes. Note that baking time may vary depending on the oven being used.
