This performance brings back so many memories, Angelo killed it! This is my favorite MIW lineup ever... they had the fire and although Chris is a much better vocalist today, the energy and pure rawness of MIW during this era was something to behold. Goosebumps.
3:19 My birthday, I'm jumping up high with the rock symbol. There I am with halo arm band and zombie bracelet and red transformers bracelet and black miw shirt.
the guitarists actually have energy here.... fuck.. what a difference it makes, in their new live performances the rhythm and lead look fucking depressing and so bored.
I noticed a majority of the bands that I once liked their guitarists stopped "crabbing" and all of their stage presence ended up dying out along with their performances... With that being said I miss when bands used to go all out and give it their all
Wow. Never seen them live. if this is what they're like live then nevermind. XD I like my music with all the lyrics sang in it and not catching up to it. I love MIW but this wouldn't be worth going out to see. \: And that's sad for me to say. Because they're such an amazing band.
This concert took place seven years ago. They've really matured in all aspects. I'm about to see them for my fourth time next week, & they put on an incredible show. Try looking up some of their more recent performances. If you still don't care for it, then fair enough
comments posted 6 yrs ago on a concert recorded 13 yrs ago... if a band hasn't evolved in 13 yrs they are doing something wrong. So Mr J's comment and the 2 replies were 6 yrs ago so that would be 2018 which is when took my daughter to Halestorm (Alice Cooper headlining but she looked up- from her phone at one point and asked "who's that creepy little guy with the cane?". 😄 MIW were on first and it was still daylight through their whole set so the lighting was gone, the screen was barely visible due to the sun glare. I watched a spindly bunch of wanna be vampires try like hell to get the crowd into their stuff but it just sounded thin and weak. The support bands rarely have their sound right. I think the headliners make sure of that. anyway, I was watching them the whole time I was in the shirt line for Halestorm with my daughter felt bad so I bought a MIW shirt to support the "new" band. I guess they were touring the Graveyard Shift album. Two songs... AMERICA & Voices got into my head and I spent the next couple days listening to MIW albums on UA-cam. Fast forward to sometime in 2021 and I saw the Pennhurst live stream in my recommended list. Damn!!! When the sound and lights are right the boys put on a proper rock show. Saw them on purpose in 2022 for Trinity of Terror (Ice Nine Kills and Black Veil Brides were 2 more "new" bands to dig into. 😄) and again in 2023 with Knocked Loose for STEOTW. Knocked Loose got me listening to modern hardcore (stopped listening to HC in the early 90's) and damn there's some good stuff out now. a channel hate5six has introduced me to a ton of great music....End It, Scowl, & GEL, CMI, etc. Die Spitz is a little more "grungey" but still rising fast this year. oops there I go again... off on a tangent. Anyway they (MIW) have grown over the last 6 yrs are better than ever. I can't wait to see what they come up with for their next album. it'll be hard to top Scoring's 4 great songs on 1 album: Cyberhex, Werewolf, Slaughterhouse and Porcelain. Now the killer part is that I'm now 60 this year and out seeing more live music than ever now that I don't have to be "up on time" for work anymore. Not in anyway related to MIW but The Warning are another up and coming "heavy" band on the rise I wanna see before I kick the bucket. OK, I'll stop now.
2020 where you at?!
2024 bro
Legendary setlist. I love how they seemed "Dressed Down" for this show. Makes it more like a punk show. Which is rad.
