No fishing Master I'm afraid, there is no such thing as a master...the fish make sure of that.... But watch out for more midweekers..I may dump some more...I got 4 new films in just a 36 hour crash filming session to Somerset and Devon...cream crackered now...but at least some more footage ..Sea and freshwater..its all the same to me..
Hello Graeme, lovely day, nice fish, and a river, thanks for showing the session, do loke a nice Chub, im on the big lake this weekend, then the Thames a week later, all the best mate.
Great video as always Graeme, I have introduced my dad to your channel and he says you're his favourite angling youtuber, straight to the point, funny and never fail to entertain us.
Loved seeing some of the Chubb they were in such good nick lovely fish to see you catch and a great heavy set Barbel to boot great video once again G thank you for sharing. 👍👌
You have a lot of totally awesome videos now Graeme. I was just wondering, whilst watching your latest one, do you happen to have a favorite video? Mine is the Hornets nest in the shed, classic!😂
That is a top tip with putting the peg at the base of your rod Handle to stop your rod from lifting up and disappearing into the river when you have a double figured barbel on the other end of it. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴. ❤❤❤ .
More to come.Literally just walked through the door from a long drive back to South Devon..Nailing some nice Wrasse on my salted and frozen ragworm...which is nice.
Nice skill catapulting your groundbait so consistently ! I need to practice more I guess - cause when I use the catapult it goes all over the place haha :)
This year I am finally going to take your advise and make my own groundbait. Fishing always so last minute and accidently spent £10 on a tiny bag of green powder at the weekend was appalled. Is it bailey's No.1 horse feed and what else do you advise?
Hi Graeme, i just got back from a 48 hour session at Horcott tench lake, fished the same peg as last year ( peg 11 )when i had 27 tench,, they didnt want to play this time, only landed 2 tench, both around 5lb and lost one, was playing it for about 5 mins then it pinged off, wound in and found my 4lb hook length snapped right in the middle.
I haven't been there yet this year, last time I blanked !!....Maybe I will give it one more shot before they shut down, but I do hear the Tench fishing has been quite patchy this year. I got a few at a Somerset lake last week,so went back a couple of evenings ago and ....blanked !...Same method/bait as I previously caught with,2nd time not even a shiver on the float..
Always lovely on the Wye, just wish I lived a bit closer. You've had your money's worth out those Avon rods, Graeme. Think I've seen everything from roach to catfish on them.
I am the same, wouldn't it be great to have the Wye on your doorstep...and ref your mention of the Avon rods..2 days ago I broke mine, over 40 years of fishing, must have caught tons in weight of fish.Hung up in a bush, pulled back hard the rod recovered and smashed into a tree trunk behind me,so now a 3-piece rod....however I will be trying for a repair ,but of course it won't be the same.I have broken the quivertip sections before but never the main top section..Nobody's fault except mine..I think I was just over tired.
@@TAFishing Ouch. I agree on your take on feeders, too. They have their place on big rivers like the Trent, but are a sledgehammer on waters like the Wye. I favour a pellet waggler rod (a stepped up float rod to you and me) that can handle decent barbel as well as smaller stuff.
😀👍Nice fish! perhaps it was good if the other two had left for a while, let it quieten down a bit before you got there. Couldn't help noticing at 15min 14 sec mark they are heavily spraying the sky. Even a reflection of it n the water.
Cracking session Greame, i didn't fair so well on Saturday into Sunday...Didn't blank as mr Chub said hello 2mins past midnight. But no barbel 😢 and it rained 😢
Didn't put on hook till midnight...Should have explained it more...Not always easy writting as as I'm dyslexic. You can bait your swim as much as you like pre midnight..
Just been out this morning fishing behind Durham cricket ground on the wear ,5 hours for 2 minnows no barbel chub or anything else ,just 2 bloody minnows but i suppose i didn't blank lol.
I think we already have a film up on making your own groundbait. With over 1,100 films up I can't tell you where it is though..!.. Try opening UA-cam and typing in "Make your own groundbait Totally Awesome Fishing"
40/50 year old rods and reels....Probably only available on the secondhand market now. Reels were just old Shimano models and the Avon rods made by Ryobi. I haven't a clue what the latest equivalent is in modern tackle.
Ha...I've just got back from a 36-hour four film crash session, plus kipping in the car..I wouldn't like to think what's been on my hands without washing,Maggots, worms, rotten frozen lug and ragworm, throw in a load of Wrasse,Chub and Carp, plus the water itself, and of all things I just smashed a giant Cheeseburger down ,chips and the rest, starving after the trip...so I hope it all stays down !!...
Yeah 😊 , midweek fishing video 😀😃. From TOP TIP 🎣 Fishing 🎣Master 🎣 Greama 🎣.

I might get the name..The Fishing Therapist ..!!..Glad the films chill you out.
Well done Graeme, really useful tips and demonstration on groundbait.

No problem,hopefully more to come.
Wow, great great Barbel Graeme, absolutely awesome bud! Keep on keeping on 🤘✌️

No problem. I thought a river film would be apt as the season has just opened.
Really great watch really enjoyed watching
Totally enjoyed this Graeme, what a nice lump that Barbel was, I reckon you'd do well trotting a wagler down that swim..

How about moles vs expanding foam 😂
Losing the big unknown fish down near dungeness 😂
The falling in the river one but still getting the Chub was quite memorable....
@@fish-qg4nuthe one where he finds someone had a crap in his swim was funny.
I'm kinda partial to the pallet wood boat myself 😅
Great job 👍. Great information

Love it when you do the Hereford wye videos just because i live there 😂
Great river to fish.Just wish I "found" it earlier.
@@TAFishing yeah great river. Like all the videos and been watching for years btw just nice and relaxing too watch
I fished that same swim last year for exactly the same reason (river busy) and had an amazing day with some huge barbel.
Nice skill catapulting your groundbait so consistently ! I need to practice more I guess - cause when I use the catapult it goes all over the place haha :)
Fantastic 😍 👌 in Grahame we trust 🙏🥂

I generally mix a bit of bran with it to loosen it a bit. But you can add whatever hook samples you fancy, pellets, maggots, corn etc.

The Minnows saved the blank..At least if they were feeding there could have been the chance of something else feeding.
You fish Todber Wadmill fairly often, have you tried Coking Farm Alder Lake? Close to Todber. Lots of cats and carp in it.
I fish Todber maybe once a year ...Just that I cram 3 films into just the one 24 hour trip.
@@TAFishing No worries - consider Alder Lake at Coking Farm though, you'll have a good session there... would like to see that video :-)
Could you do a video of your ground bait mix please?

Tommo's and Grant's tips were well worth watching..... don't know about that Graeme guy though. 😆
I just listen to them both and take notes...
First viewer hi
Hi Mr first viewer.
Why keep small one it's a barbel that's what matters and a nice barbel
??? Not sure where you are with this comment as I don't keep any freshwater fish ?
Don't eat those meat and pellets and give yourself E-coli like Mike! (Best wishes to him and a quick recovery!)

Think that applies to most of us anglers...
Its the rivers that carry it 😲
