Das passt überhaupt nicht. Weder Stimme noch sonstwas. Null Leidenschaft, kühle Begleitung, die Violine ohne Gefühl, alle nur auf die Noten fixiert. Das rote Kleid sollte nicht täuschen. So würde ich eine Kritik schreiben. Wo ist die Freude? Ernste Gesichter, Freunde, das hier soll Musik sein, nicht der Gang nach Golgotha
She's working too hard, trying to make her voice bigger and darker than it is. One can understand she may be tired of the soubrette roles, but the voice has to go along with the new desired repertoire. Santuzza? Quel orrore!
No legato, no support. Ice cold singing. No resonance at all! More than 5 microphones on the stage, and I still can't hear her singing. In the last 10 years her voice went ultra, super, straight downhill. To be vocally dead at the age of 40 (i am guessing here), then you know something is horribly wrong. The best years and she is unable to perform! What a fake and vocally covered up joke of a singer.
Qué inteligentes palabras las tuyas! Debes ser un gran entendido en temas vocales (o el típico purista insoportable), pero no estoy de acuerdo. Elina sigue siendo la mejor mezzo del momento.

Actually this is the point of sheet music. This makes Elina pretty much illiterate. In sheet music all is written out - how one must interpret a piece. Again, must! You actually have no real free choice to do what you want. Very rarely. The composer wrote down how and why he wanted it like that. So doing whatever you want is out of question and completely not a subjective matter. And if you want to do your own thing, write a piece yourself, there no one will question you. But since she sings the work of someone else… And since you never worked with a composer, you have zero understanding how protective and sensitive they are on what they wrote in their pieces. Well Elina has no talent so putting her down is a must, since she is a fake pop star that charges very expensive tickets and gives nothing in return. People should judge her harshly.
