If your Box has an ethernet port, connect an ethernet cable from router to the Box and update the box manually and remove any unecessary apps, remove the cable and try wifi. Adjusting the date and time and location can also help.
Hi, you get invalid password when your enter the wrong one, the problem is usually with upper and lower cases. Check your password again, enter it properly. It's always better to use a very easy password without special characters, only numbers and letters

In my case with a Greva box, it wouldn't accept correct Wifi password. So I just skipped that and moved on to main screen after selecting my Region. Went to a movie icon that was there and clicked on it. Needed to download Netflix app. Hit that and it downloaded. So obviously wifi was working in spite of it saying trouble connecting. It happens. It's a frozen case, you just need to restart your Box. New boxes do not have new updates, may be kept in a box for a long time. It's better to connect an ethernet cable, run a wired connection , run updates before you connect to wifi.

Did you figure out the problem. Mine is doing the same thing. I turn on the WiFi and it doesn't show any available routers and when I back out of the screen it switches off. Like he said in the video probably a bad WiFi card. I have to connect an Ethernet to get Internet service

Normally an Android Box should connect to any wifi network, restart your router and try again. Make sure your Box is close to the router

I agree, If some apps have expired in your TV, you will not get them back after reset. You can reset your TV if necessary, that's the last resort.

Hi, yes you mean wifi is grayed out. It's preferable to reset your Box in Settings - preferences and set it up again. That will fix the problem
