Will be visiting Lebanon/Nashville area in mid-August .Considering moving to Lebanon first week in November will be renting .
Great hope you love it when you visit!
Being thirty *minutes* East of Nashville, we're not really a suburb. That would be more Mt. Juliet and Gallatin.
That’s hilarious to me. In NY, people commute an hour and a half or two hours each way. People would love a 30 minute commute. 😆 😮
My home town
I considered moving to Lebanon! But the charm of Columbia won out for me!
Columbia is so cute!!
Someone who lives in Lebanon you made the right choice It’s so overcrowded here
It’s pronounced Lebanawn but if you’re politically shy you’d pronounce it Lebanin as in this video, now if you’re really scared you’d pronounce it Lebnin. You can always move out of town and avoid the fear but it is Lebanawn when you read Lebanon.
It’s actually Leb-nun if you’re from there .. but I’m from East Tennessee so I compromise 🤷♀️
@@movingtonashvilletn You know what, I stand corrected, I just learned something about "Lebnen", I was told by someone from the country Lebanon that they pronounce it "Lebnen" over there and never "Lebanawn" as we do... Sheesh! 😂
Don't forget the very rare pronunciation of "le-bay-nen".
@@Order-in-Chaos seriously?! 😂
@@movingtonashvilletn Sadly, yes.
But as I said, very rare, fortunately.😆
Question for anyone familiar with the area... I'm relocating due to work from VA. I'm not finding much as far as rentals in Lebanon. Is Antioch realistic to commute daily to Lebanon? Google maps says 27-30mins, but I know from areas in VA what looks like 30mins on a map can be much longer. What about la vergne?
Antioch is bad with drugs and crime.
Pretty much, Lebanon is 30-45 minuets from every other town or city.
A central hub.
What are you looking for, by way of rentals?
We have a plethora of apartments in Lebanon.
How can I gain the Lebanon nationality
They gutted our nature areas for apartments and town homes.
The roads are now absolutely congested.
There is nothing to do here expect drive 45 minuets to other things.
If you want to work, we are the warehouse capital of the south, hosting 3-4 Amazon fulfillment centers.
Houses and land are impossible to buy for locals.
Taxes going up.
Need a Sam's, Costco, or BJ's...but they gave it to Mt. Juliet instead.
This quiet little town is no longer.
I dislike this town now more now, people and chaos everywhere, 10 years ago it was a refuge from all the chaos around middle TN. Really did not like it from the get go.
Please stop coming here
