They constantly leave my packages at my neighbors house. Our addresses are clearly marked with numbers on the houses & painted on the curbs. Wouldn't bother me so much if I wasn't handicapped. My neighbors work, if I don't go over to pick up my package it could get stolen. It's difficult for me to get around. We live on a very busy foot traffic street. Once in awhile I catch them leaving my package nextdoor, they roll their eyes when I ask them to please bring it to me.
That's because Post Office workers are union, have good benefits and are technically considered federal employees. From what I understand, Amazon has decent to similar pay and okay benefits but working conditions in the warehouses are mediocre and dangerous.
Refusing to work is not how you get things done ultimatums will always get you the worst reaction. Less than 12 people can retrain all of your positions for new employees you will all just be fired and guess what the new people will be hired and paid even less for having no experience don't think that you have a skill qualified employment anyone can do your job. I hope all of those walking out have a wonderful holiday season guess what you can't file for unemployment when you quit and refusal to work is grounds for termination also not subject to unemployment👍👍👹👻☠️
Several friends and acquaintances have worked for Amazon. Not one good thing about working for Amazon. The work conditions are just horrendous. I stand by the workers going on strike. I hope the workers can find better employment. Where they’ll be treated better and also better pay.
@@Wonderland1865 I delivered for Amazon as a seasonal one year during the holidays and it was fun. You made a lot of money and it was straight forward. Nothing bad about it. You had as many free water bottles as you needed everyday at the distribution center for your day. You can eat wherever you want in the city, and you actually have A/C. UPS drivers didn't have A/C at that time. (they still don't but apparently they are going to start adding them?)

Go Amazon workers!!! I stand by them!
Then they complain when robots replace them! Fire them all! Make more robots!!!!
Amazon will get the last laugh when the robot replacements come in
Amazon needs to do better, their packaging is very wasteful.

What do you need? $80 an hour to put something into a box. The US Post office delivers my packages so are they crying about not delivering packages

Unions are like vultures. They are trying to get their cut. Of course! The holidays are perfect for their plans.
