I have the 2021 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L since brand new. Honestly, it's a great vehicle, it handles good, comfy, spacious, good gas mileage for my work commute, and excellent for any type of weather in the snowy winters here in the State of Ohio. I love my CR-V.
We have a 2020 and a 2022 we are in our early 60's and these are the best cars we have ever owned--and we have owned all makes and models..... thank you for the review.....
I'm over 60, like WAY over, and I don't give a ra about the cluster, etc. I want safety, dependability, the seats for somfort, and those TAIL LIGHTS still showing what I noticed on the 1999ish CRV. I'll be checking out the local models in the near future. Love your vid!
Great to see your review. I was looking for your car reviews a few months back and couldn’t find it, looked through my subscription and didn’t see it. I like your reviews keep it up.
Great review!! I just got the same exact car a month ago except my seats are black. I absolutely love it. I had a 2008 that I loved so much that I wanted another. They’re such great cars. Any idea what kind of tire shine was used on those tires? They look amazing!
My friend asked me last week to come to help him move to a new apartment. He owns an Alfa Romero but came to pick me up in his girlfriend's 2021 RAV 4 to go pick up a Uhaul truck. I was very shocked to see the poor making of the RAV 4 from cheap materials to the whole assembly of it. That infotainment screen has huge edges and is quite thick. The seats are like widow curtain fabrics. The FOB remote is cheaply made and the buttons suck. CRV is the best SUV in that range. He told me he hated the RAV 4 and shared the same sentiments as me.
Agreed, I am a big Toyota fan, but the RAV 4, in my opinion, is sub par compared to the CRV. I was recently in the market for a commuter car and I sat in a Corolla Cross (way to small, and I couldn't' test drive becuae they were all spoken for), and a RAV4 which I was able to test drive a couple years ago, and it was awful, in my opinion. CRV handles much better and is quieter.
I agree the vehicle is really nice, the only drawback for me is the engine and trans. They are having issues with oil Dilution and also carbon buildup because of the GDI engine. If Honda would offer the 2.0 turbo with the 10 speed transmission I would buy two.
Preventative measures will decrease the carbon buildup in the intake valves, and it will take years to build up. Also, replacing the injectors is not difficult.
I just bought a 2022 Passport EX-L last week and love it I'm very glad I bought it only complaint is on freeway there is a little more wind noise at speeds of 65 mph and higher but not a deal breaker just slightly noticeable but absolutely no noise when cruising around town fantastic vehicle
I just bought a CRV, but I am only 5'4". My brother in law is 5'11" (maybe slightly taller), and slightly overweight and he said the CRV was too small to be comfortable for him, he ended up buying a new Passport instead.
Kindly tell that to Honda I am not buying a car without a CD player sorry not happen and I don’t care what brand it is I’m still not gonna buy it without a CD player this will be my f my third CRV And no way that I said come home with me without a CD player in it
Recently drove a 2022 CR-V EX-L, as I was looking to replace my previous SUV. I could not believe how loud, buzzy, slow and unrefined this thing was. I also own a 2021 Honda Ridgeline, and it's a great vehicle, but I was shocked by how bad the CR-V was. Who buys these things? Finally settled on a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe, which is like a Lexus compared to the warmed-over golf cart that is the CR-V. Hope they make major improvements for the 2023 model year.
I just bought a 2022, don't agree with anything you say, it's comfortable and quiet in my opinion. Good luck you're new Hyundai, def not nearly as reliable as Honda.

Your right george about interior roominess. Honda engineers do it right. CR-V will be here for a very long time. People love them.

Just bought a 2022 Honda CRV LX and will have it for a very long, long time.
Thank God for showing me that I will buy one for myself
Agree 100%. I have CR-V bought new, 2017. Love it. Current 65K miles. Runs like new. I have dealer do all Honda recommended maintenance. I works.

What does the S stand for on the gear shifter. Is it a type of sport mode?

Bought it new in 2019 EXL. Excellent. Love it.
Another great review, George!
Why do you have a gearstick and I have buttons
Just bought the 2023 exl ☺️
Can it be plugged in as a plug-in hybrid what do you have to depend on the braking system for it to charge is there another way it’s my question
No plug in CRV available in USA, even with the new redesign.
Y dont they do the bed and picnic table anymore

They actually fixed that issue in 2020.

Looks like a man with a bow tie I called him honey
I fancy one of these Honda's!
Just waiting for my XRP to 10X
Great review. Does that engine still have problems with oil dilution?
Not if you use the right oil
Love dash design, can’t stand 2023 dash with infotainment glued on top of the dash
Hi, how can i contact you about the business collaboration?
We are all George!!
Hi! Does anyone knows how much a brand new CRV EXL cost after taxes?
Just bought EX-L in Texas. OTD with no trade $36,600.
I bought my 2021 CR-V AWD EX-L at $33,000 here in Ohio. Great vehicle, comfy, spacious. It runs over the snow like a beast.
I need a work car just to get around. Should I go with the CRV or HRV?
Get a used Fit, better gas mileage, smaller and thus easier to park. Rear seats fold down to give you a lot of cargo space.

I am getting CRV EX variant for 36k out of lot in Atlanta...Does that makes sense to buy ?
Lot of dealer markup happening these days
Not for 36k. I would shop around.

Ah, I have never gotten 29mpg from this car. 23mph city, 27 hwy. I am not a lead foot. The EPA values that you cited here are bogus.
I get 29 highway on econ
Any bigger people here? Looking into the CRV but I am a larger person wondering if there is enough room for us
