Al di sopra vi sono le lingue galloromanze e al di sotto le lingue e dialetti italiani, e soprattutto divide le lingue romanze occidentali da quelle romanze orientali. Io sono ligure e conservo una moneta del periodo napoleonico che celebra la riunione della Liguria alla madrepatria francese. Definire l'Italia "poco più che un'espressione geografica" fu fin troppo generoso.

Italy as a state was born in 1860, but its traditions, its language, its culture,its law, its art come from the past, before 1860 when it was divided into many small states.
Just the basic knowledge in arts is enough to realize how ancient and precious Italian culture is
Germany was founded in 1871 and is NEWER than Italy. So, Italy and Germany are new to you? The states of Italy (Rome, Genoa, Venetian Republic) predate Denmark, Sweden, and more by thousands of years. Rome is nearly 3000 years old. Since Germany as a whole and Italy as a whole are newer concepts then this may stun you, but the culture present are older.

Il fatto che il Paese abbia l'attuale assetto amministrativo dal 1861 non cancella mica i precedenti 3.000 anni di storia?!
Ma soprattutto il fatto che un Paese sia più giovane di un altro non dimostra che si sia più sensibili agli stereotipi. Anche i sammarinesi si imbestialiscono quando vengono considerati italiani, anche se hanno secoli di esperienza statale più di noi, solo che essendo numericamente esigui non si percepisce la loro sensibilità. Con noi italiani trovano qualcosa di ben diverso, perchè siamo tanti, in relazione alla grandezza del nostro territorio. Saremo almeno 5-6 se non 7 milioni di italiani su UA-cam, quindi questa la ritengo una spiegazione più valida alla nostra "sensibilità" culturale, rispetto alla gioventù del nostro Stato o meno.

Italy isn't the Roman Empire. Only Rome is Rome, the others parts of Italy was their enemies, they were conquered and annexed, like the rest of the Roman Empire.

A small sidenote: the Italian state and the Italian identity are two completely different things, the first is only 160 years old, the other dates back to the Roman Empire. Just to clarify.
She does not understand this. Germany was founded in 1871 and is newer than Italy but the Germanic world is older.

L'unico periodo storico in cui gli attuali italiani sono stati uniti sotto la stessa bandiera è quello dell'impero romano. 1) l'identità di una nazione (concetto vago) non è unicamente politica, bensì prima di tutto culturale, ed in quanto ad identità culturale il fatto che Dante usi il termine Italia per indicare un precisa regione senza sentire il bisogno di chiarirlo ulteriormente, implica che il concetto fosse ben conosciuto e universalmente accettato già 750 anni fa.
2) Separare la storia di Roma dalla storia di Italia è più un esercizio retorico che una profonda analisi storica. Ridurre la relazione tra storia di Roma e storia di Italia a mera continuità temporale è impresa intellettualmente ardita.

But as you can see a bunch of people got it and liked it because they speak her same native language or are otherwise able to infer what she means. You received a truckload of negative feedback by the people you summarily labelled as patriarchal and retrograde in your previous video, and in this video you respond by making a whole new assumption based on a five minutes research? So Italy is a new country? First of all, yes, the nation of Italy as a modern state "only" dates back to 160 years ago, but that is just because we didn't have a central political power and it doesn't erase the fact that our history goes back three millennia. We unified the continent first and kept it together by our original language, roads, measurements and, among yet other things, the alphabet you are using now. And we also invented the bulk root of Western music, by the way.
Secondly, it's not by blurting out a second generalistic label (new country=sensitive people) that you make up for the first one (patriarchal/machissimo). What you did before and what you are doing now is prejudice.
