In order to stay relevant, nowadays, people just go with the herd without any basis. Almost every Indian newcomer I meet here is complaining. But when you ask them if they have done the research or taken necessary steps like networking, it's a huge NO!

Vancouver - last winter it snowed only for 7 days, and never touched -10 while snowing, hence vancouver is very expensive and a wonderful place, its as good as seattle. So it isn't harsh when it comes to winters, i dont know all people living in toronto always consider canada as a whole for harsh winters .. lol. Very funny.
But i think besides Vancouver and southern British Columbia most of Canada gets harsh winters. But the problem thing is newcomers to Canada think the country is always cold and snowy 24/7 365 days a year, which obv not true the country has beautiful seasons and even hot summers. Like Toronto has both very cold winters but also very hot and humid summers, Vancouver has a mild winter and mild summer.

So, that's not what one's experiencing right now. What most countries, including Canada, are now experiencing is the early stages of stagflation - inflation stays high relative to recent history while wage growth is lower than inflation/negative or unemployment rate creeps up.
