I think you have the most healthy relationship with food I've seen on UA-cam. You include every category of food in your meals, you aren't afraid of carbs, fats, or sugar. It goes to show that if you do not have any allergies or other conditions that could prevent you from consuming certain foods, you don't have to be gluten-, carbs-, sugar-free etc. to be healthy.
@@ElleFlorence I have been watching your videos for years, and always felt very inspired by your fashion style and passion for food and cooking. I still make your banana bread and granola recipes! ☺️
Elle, do you plan your meals once a week? I'd like to see how you plan your meals or do your grocery shopping. All this looked delicious! Thank you for the ideas!
I love what I eat in a day videos! They always give me great ideas for meals and I especially love your meals, they all look so good! I like that you left on the cooking sounds in this video. I find it very relaxing as well ✨🌸
Hi Elle, can you recommend any totes/ bags for carrying packed adult lunches? I recently started food prepping, and while I love the health benefits, I’m actually quite bothered by a lack of attractive yet functional bags that could fit up to 2 meals and 2 snacks. Help! X
i make a chicken tortilla soup (tomato and veggie broth based) that calls for 1 smoked adobo pepper in the Crock-Pot. it is so smoky and good. you might try that instead of the seasoning sometime! you can pick it out after like a bay leaf! they sell them canned for about a dollar with the Mexican seasonings and enchilada sauces.
I LOVE your what I eat in a day videos! I know you didn't make any fresh pasta in this video but would you mind sharing the recipe you use to make fresh pasta in your Phillips pasta machine? Thank you!
Awesome! One idea for a video for your consideration - how do you chose between white and yellow gold tones for jewelry? I’d be really curious to hear your views as a designer and for customers selecting between your white and yellow gold creations and considering which would better compliment their skin tones.
YES to more food videos, they are my absolute favorite! Love the cooking sounds left in, I don't like eating sounds, I know many do- given the EXTREME popularity of mukbangs, but the ASMR aspect of cooking is very pleasing- IF done properly, and you have good quality sound equipment, which it certainly sounds like you do, your editing of the "sounds" were spot on, and all the sounds were in the same...hmm, I can't think of the right word, maybe someone else will know what the word is, what I'm trying to say is the sounds are all in the same "volume" ( I think there is a better and more accurate way of explaining this as it relates to the loudness of sounds) anyway, I just mean, for those with headphones, the pepper cracking was on the same level as the sizzling, and the fire turning on ( the whoosh from gas is always a pleasing sound )...so I'm a huge YES to more cooking videos , leave cooking sounds in, and someone did mention that a really nice close up of prepared food ( maybe even B roll - is that what you call it when you take still shots, and add them in?) Those are just so helpful to get a sense of what the finished dish should look like, and if we want, we can just take a screen grab of that + the recipe you leave, and voila, we have started ourselves a little Elle Cookbook! ( which I think you could TOTALLY rock , and would be very successful). You have a wonderful purposeful collision of Traditional French Cuisine meets West Coast Urban with a slight Asian influence. I know you already have so so many irons in the fire but I have been doing a fair bit of research on self publishing ( I'm looking at just e-books on amazon) there are A LOT of people doing this, and making some crazy $$, and to tell you the truth, much of what I've been reading ( to gather information for my own project) is not written well, is serious need of a good editor but nevertheless sells, and sell well. I think you could hit a cookbook out of the park! I have not tried one recipe yet that I've picked up from you, that I didn't love. Here are some of my faves...for any new friends, who maybe haven't seen some of your awesome creations 1) the no 1 spot must go to " overnight yeasted waffles " , while the full recipe may not be elles she has tweaked pretty much everything she makes and has great suggestions to make things her own, which I love. These have become a staple in my entire extended family, for all big celebrations . They are simply Devine. *** my own add. I use a large Cuisinart round Belgian waffle maker in order to adapt the recipe from a traditional square waffle maker to a Belgian style, I add more melted butter, and more baking powder. Altitude plays a big role , as well as how hot or cool your home is while they raise overnight at room temperature. I've found if my house is set at 71 F, I get an excellent rise from my batter. One night we had a brutal cold snap and the kitchen fell to about 69 F, the batter had much less rise. Just fyi. 2) strawberry Chia jam with homemade English muffins. Devine. 3)Elle's squash soup ( it's in a what I eat in a workday, maybe 2 falls/winters ago?) 4) the perfect gingerbread and choc chip cookies for the holidays - in an episode where Elle cooks with her beautiful Mum ( they make these are the holidays , they are both excellent cookie recipes ) 5) Gnocchi and sauce...soo good 6) Flank steak on bed of greens 7) sheet pans ( she does an assortment , veg/chicken, and I think there might be a veg / salmon? I'm allergic so I never pay too much attention to the seafood dishes 8) homemade granola ( sooooooo good! ) Ok- well these are just a a FEW that I've made many times , and all are delish!!
I used your recipe to make ratatouille yesterday evening. It turned out so well and even tastes better today after the flavours got time to meld together. 😋 Thank you for your awesome videos!
I also enjoy the sounds of the kitchen! Love your food videos because I always get inspired. As someone who just started a weight loss journey, I appreciate watching you use real ingredients. 💕
Thanks for the great video, Elle! Leaving the cooking sounds in is a nice idea. I'd love to see a weekend indulgence food video if you'd care to share one. It's so refreshing to see a beautiful person like you cook and eat a balanced healthy diet. Well done! Have a great weekend!
Fun cooking segments. I agree I love hearing the cooking sounds. I prefer to watch normal people (not chefs!) cook on UA-cam because I am a normal person. On Instagram stories i tend to put a lot of cooking videos.
I’d love to see a video where you talk about your cooking journey. What were some of the first things you learned to cook? What resources did you use? I think it would be so inspirational for young women who can’t cook. It makes me sad how many people waste money on inferior, unhealthy take out simply Bc they don’t know how to cook!
I LOVE these videos! I do like the cooking sounds, sometimes they were a little loud and echoed, nothing that can’t be fixed, overall it was a wonderful job and I appreciate the new style in video! 💗💗💗
That was very cool. Different. Now , please excuse me because I need to go to the grocery store and buy eggplant, bell pepps, and pork chops, because I am inspired. Thank you so much, Elle.
Oh my gosh Elle I cut exactly all those veggies and I put them in my crock pot with garlic, and spices/ herbs. Then when I get home From work, I mash it with my potato old school masher. That is our home made spaghetti sauce, then all I do is boil the pasta and make eggplant meat balls. It is delishious! Thank you for sharing your goodies! Lol I too like my yogurt hardy and mix it all up lol 🙋🏻

I personally like the cooking sounds left in, seems more authentic!
Elle, do you plan your meals once a week? I'd like to see how you plan your meals or do your grocery shopping. All this looked delicious! Thank you for the ideas!
No I can’t carry home that many groceries so I’d say twice per week xx
I love what I eat in a day videos! They always give me great ideas for meals and I especially love your meals, they all look so good! I like that you left on the cooking sounds in this video. I find it very relaxing as well ✨🌸

I LOVE your what I eat in a day videos! I know you didn't make any fresh pasta in this video but would you mind sharing the recipe you use to make fresh pasta in your Phillips pasta machine? Thank you!
It’s just 3 eggs or enough egg to fill the cup and then the two cups of flour xx
@@ElleFlorence Omg so simple! Thanks Elle
Love these videos. Would love to see a cooking basics video. You are very talented in the kitchen.
Awesome! One idea for a video for your consideration - how do you chose between white and yellow gold tones for jewelry?
