Hi, I have an Apple TV 1st gen and no remote. I downloaded the remote app to my iOS device and it found my Apple TV(connected to my network) but it gave me a code:( which I didn’t know how to punch in since..uhhhm..I don’t have a real remote..anyway) can u help? Thank you!

how do i unpair my my siri remote from my apple HD it connected to apple 4k and i only need it to apple 4k but i think my kid throw it and it broke the left button so iam kind of stuck with it connected to Applae HD it works for my apple 4k but we can control both when on and it’s kind of annoying

This app literally gave me Ades. You can control your Apple Tv for about 10 seconds before it forces you to purchase their subscription in order to press any other button in the remote

I think you might try to reboot the Apple TV from the computer first
And then proceed to connect via ethernet for the first configuration
