Hey guys!! I set out to see what other brands are out there with jeans that cater to curves. I purchased 9 other jeans from Pacsun, AE, Abercrombie, Everlane, Good American, Urban Outfitters, Madewell, Reformation and Agolde. I’m sharing my review and thoughts and letting you in on which of the brands I think have the best fitting jeans. Hope you enjoy 🤍 ua-cam.com/video/Xk3XBgEGodI/v-deo.html
First, I just have to say how beautiful you are! Also, you speak in a lovely, soothing, and articulate manner🌺 I too, started adding Levi's to my wardrobe. Levi's stand the test of time as far as durability, consistency and there's something for everyone - a true classic jean for all time. Nice review... keep up the great content. 👏🏽 Have a beautiful day, gorgeous❣
I’ve had those tango ribcage jeans in my cart for ages and couldn’t get off the fence about them- saw how amazing they looked on you, paused this video and bought them immediately! Thanks for a great video! You’re so beautiful 😍
You are so sweet! Loved your collection !! I have also invested in my denim collection last year and I now love it!! I also wear loads of Levi’s and my fav is the ribcage as well! I’m 5’7 and I wear size 28w and 29w. I’ve done 2 videos on them too just to help anyone who is looking at investing on Levi’s x
I just saw this video in my feed I’m in love with your style!!! This is the exact style I’m going for. I looked on your website when do you usually update it? I live in Florida and cannot wear a lot of long sleeve shirts, so I’m looking shorter shirts with this styles
Aw thanks so much! I update my shop website weekly/bi-weekly so feel free to check periodically for new items! I completely understand, I'll be having more short sleeve shirts in the coming weeks to prep for Spring :)
Hi!! Could you share your waist measurement? I want to buy the ribcage jeans but not sure about my size, also does the Georgie jeans stretch a little bit?
I definitely have to agree: Even though Wedgie fit is very hyped, they just don't look as flattering on me as the Ribcage. I have yet to find another pair of denim (regardless of pricing) that looks better than the Ribcage. Wedgie fit looks amazing on you though! Regarding different sizes, maybe it's because the material (cotton %) is different? I always check the labels now. 100% cotton will be much tighter (even though they will stretch out). I've always been a 24 in Levi's, but when I bought a 100% cotton Wedgie Straight in the same size, I could not even button up.
Thank you girl!! And that’s such a good point I think you’re right about the cotton %. When it’s 100% cotton, whew.....lol! This makes me want to check all the Levi’s now to see!
Hello, your video made me order the Levi’s Ribcage Waisted Trucker in Medium Wash and sized up. I usually get size 27. May I know your waist line? Mine is always in between 27 and 28 inches. Please help! Thank you! Stay lovely 💕
Ahh you'll have to let me know how you like them!! I haven't done an exact measurement in a while but last I remembered I was in between 27 and 28, closer to 28! So I gravitate to 28 most of the time to be comfortable but for some pants I own, a 27 fits better! So for the Wasted Trucker it sounds like the 28 would be good for you, but if you wanted something a bit more fitted then you could always go back down to your regular size 27!
I feel like the Wedgie fit has a great rise for those of us who are shorter. I’m 5’3 and the rise of them lands in a more flattering part of my body than the Ribcage does. However, I do enjoy both styles. Have you tried the Wedgie Straight fit? Those are my favs even though I have washes in the original Wedgie too…I also have a couple pairs of Ribcage jeans too :)
That’s great to hear that the Wedgie has a great rise for those who are shorter - that definitely makes sense since it felt a bit low for me at 5’7! I haven’t tried the wedgie straight fit yet!
I just bought my first Levis pairs and they're all wedgie and 1 is a 501(I'm 5'3" so it worked out). Got them from Winners/Marshalls Canada. But I've been wanting ribcage jeans and they're pricier so I've been on the fence with them. I want them and yet I want 99% cotton and I wear the same size as you. I can wear 27 but 28 feels super nice sometimes (depending on the weave/dye and how stiff the jean is) and yet I don't know what size I want in the ribcage! I tried a 27 in the Georgie wash which was too tight. But in a lighter wash they looked so good. I didn't sit nor squat though as I forgot to lol. Also they had a small amount of distressing on the knee which seemed to make the fabric pucker with the lighter wash ribcage. So I'm sort of waiting it out for something with no distressing and a lighter wash. Thanks for your video so informative and you are so well spoken
Thanks so much girl! Yess you'll have to let me know if you end up getting a pair and how you like them. I know returning things can be annoying when ordering online, but if at all possible, it may be worth getting two sizes to compare which fits bests, and returning the other! Since they are on the pricier side, I would also check the site periodically as I realized they often have sales :)
@@MoTheCrown @MoTheCrown I did actually get a couple pairs of the ribcage jean! OMG they are so comfortable. No waist gap and they fit my hips etc. I am in LOVE. I did notice though for some reason the stitching on the seam of the outer thigh/leg area seems to be a looser stitch and therefore when I wear them it appears as if the stitches are pulling. Is this something you have noticed? I have noticed it on one pair of ribcage jeans I just got in and also on my 501 mid thigh shorts. So weird as I do have the correct size and fit and my other pair doesn't do this (of the ribcage). I hope it's not a defect. I did take a closer look and the stitches seem wider/looser on my new ribcage pair as opposed to my other one I purchased a week ago. So when I wear them, you can see the stitching on the outer parts of my legs a bit which is odd I found. Is this perhaps normal? Thanks in adv!! I hope that all made sense!!!
@@jessbasi7758 Yay! Happy to hear they fit well. Hmm I actually haven't noticed that stitching issue with any of the jeans that I got, so I'm not too sure about that!!
Very helpful, thank you! I feel like the wedgie style is meant to emphasize smaller butts but for those of us whose butts emphasize themselves, the ribcage is the way to go haha
Great content! I love Levi’s ribcage jeans i bought the tango light and life’s work in size 25. The life’s work is slightly tighter but they are still a great fit. I want to buy the black feeling cagey, do you think I’ll be fine with a size down(24) or I should stick to my normal Levi’s size (25)?Thanks!
Thank you! I found that the Feeling Cagey ran a bit big for me compared to all the other Ribcage jeans in that size! So I wish I had sized down personally, I actually plan to return/swap for a smaller size!!
Hi, I first purchased the ‘feeling cagey’ wash in a 26 and my normal size is 27. I ended up returning them for a 27. 26 size looked perfectly on me, but I couldn’t breath while seated and it was hurting my tights also while seated. This wash does not stretch out as the lighter blue washes. Size 27 looks more looser, but it is a way more comfortable 😊 I think you should give it a try on a full day so that you see how the jeans adapt to your body 😊
The one that flattens the butt probably has no elastane! Those break with use and will get the shape of your body. After a while they will look just as great!! Loved the review!
Hmm. I thought a size 25=0, 26=2, 27=4, 28=6, 29=10, etc. So you are technically between 4 & 6 in my book! But this all goes out the window for Levi's brand...i personally wear 24, 25 and 26 in Levi's, depending on the material, cut and style. I also tend to favor looser fits for comfort. You, however, rock it in ALL of those jeans! I especially love the ribcage fits on you regardless the size. ;)

Hi!! Could you share your waist measurement? I want to buy the ribcage jeans but not sure about my size, also does the Georgie jeans stretch a little bit?
Hi!! I’m a size 28” if that is helpful! It does have a slight stretch but is mainly cotton so not much of a stretch!
for reference, what is your waist measurement? thank you!
I believe 28”
Loveee this ✨
