He has 2 percent damage spells, 2 global spells, and a built-in deward ability. Yeah, he is nuts.
He is also probably the best hero to defend vs mega and still have impact in team fights
Didn't he already have these things prior to the latest patch? I just checked and he's had no changes since 7.35.
It's probably just a meta thing with all the strength cores being so prevalent.
One of the best scaling hero in the game.
Lightning bolt also reveals invisible enemy.
Also has a mini stun for cancelling tps and zeus in the 99percent of matches is top damage of the whole players
For me zues is the most broken hero in this patch and still consistent now. Can stack fast. Can do any lanes and you can go manta but still nuke enemies. He is an all around hero. Even warding and dewarding. It's crazy.

You forgot to add that Zeus can reduce the vision of the enemy at any time, enemy has to ward in weird spots in order to not being denied by the Zeus path
2:58 words that no one under 8-10k mmr has ever heard, mid, doesnt mean rotating. the countless times ive had people say why arent u rotating, idk jerry, im a fucking huskar dumpstering lane and u want me to go run at them at a lost lane and let their mid farm? again, mid, doesnt mean 100% rotate, the only time ive seen people not argue about this is high mmr pubs, for some reason immo still dont understand this but oww well xD
You should rotate though. If you have won midlane theres no reason for u to not go take btm or top tower
Not playing a hero that rotates mid doesn't mean never go into the side lane. You still have to react to your opponents. You simply don't make the first move in the sidelanes. If the enemy is playing too aggressive, and you don't tp and collect your free kills, they will get a tower, kill your sidelaners, and simply just get ahead from a mistake. All because you don't "rotate". Playing a farming hero doesn't mean never fight.

There certainly is an argument to stay in lane when you win. However there are just as many arguments to rotate EXACTLY because you won your lane.
I think the higher the MMR the more likely someone is gonna say you should rotate when you win lane, not lose.
In lower MMR i think its the opposite i think.
Happens all the time when im supp and my core just abbandons lane to go farm jungle or some other goofy shit that adds nothing.

I'm new to Dota 2. I've been losing every single game, but the first time I played Zeus I won. This is not a coincidence.
I guess the one thing im having difficulty with Zues right now, (Considering I play zues a lot even before the changes) is I default to spell casting when I'm under stress in team fights and forget that my right click is bonkers, I was just so used to spamming arc and thunderbolt that I tend to forget to right click haha.
just before the new patch and after a tournament? big changes are coming but still love the videos!

im playing zeus any role 1 year ago now, used to be 63% winrate, but its so nerfed its only 57% now
it seems like all the good heroes currently (Drow Zeus etc) are heroes that its so hard to go HG against. Like trying to go HG against these heroes feels like an insurmountable task.
I've been doing this with Zeus in turbo (don't have enough free time for normal/ranked) and it's the easiest, safest hero with insane win rate. They need to at least take away his jump without shard. Not like that would do much, but it should be a decent nerd for normal games at least.
this build only has a chance of working in high mmr; I currently play in 2k mmr and its nor reliable
