Also having a smaller budget makes us a lot more intentional and strategic with who we buy. I'm a Liverpool fan and even though we managed to win today, this is far from over yet. The performance levels have dropped slightly since the start of December (Spurs & West Ham aside). 2 wins in 5 PL games, I believe? He's also right that Arsenal will probably drop more points too. It's a much more open league this year than the previous 6/7 years where you've had to be almost perfect every week to stay in the hunt with the City juggernaut.
