Thanks!
Two bits of advice Dick Smith once gave. 1. Keep your overheads low and your service high. 2. I know very little but what I do know is how to ask others that know. Sound advice I have never forgotten in running my own company.
Hopefully I will find some more people who know their stuff very well and are prepared to sit in front of the camera!
I was thinking about this topic just yesterday, and I was amazed to find your video today! What perfect timing. Your video came at exactly the right moment.
I want to express my deep gratitude for your efforts and your excellent work in conveying the information. Thank you for your valuable contributions and for sharing this knowledge.
Best regards
The UA-cam algorithm is scary smart!
This is very true. All my consultancy work, ever, has been found through former colleagues and friends of former colleagues. Two things I've learned in 10 years of working for myself are that you are only as good as your last job (reputation is everything) and the best part of a job is the departure lounge at the airport flying home after it's done.
Yes. There is probably a whole other episode to be made on reputation management. Diplomacy is a super useful skill for any consultant!
To get job.whio you know is very important.
To keep job.what you know is needed.
That's true although willingness to learn is almost as good as what you know.
Attend industry networking functions even is you feel uncomfortable. That is what golf was designed for.
Both of those pursuits are great for networking and not so great for your liver!
