As someone else said, below. Luke's speeder had the gray markings. Wedge's speeder had the orange/red markings. So, yours is actually accurate to the movie.
The little sliding mechanism on the back is for lifting the air brakes, give it a try!

When looking at stuff like this, I like checking an inflation calculator. The "starfighter class" line (The Xwings, Tie fighters, snow speeders, etc.) MSRP is $17. Your private seller charged more. Action Fleet ships, in 1998 were $9.99 MSRP. Adjusted for inflation, that is $18.64 in todays dollars. So, in theory, these are fairly close to the "same price" when adjusted for inflation. In my opinion, these seems slightly worse than the action fleet line, so I don't think they've hit the value mark, but they are close. I'd rather see them use better plastic, and better paint to match the quality of the action fleet line.
The wobble in the blasters I actually appreciate I collected action fleet as a teen and my little brothers broke so many parts
Just put on ESB, Luke's snowspeeder as grey markings, the rest have the red, so it's accurate to the movie!
Ya know what’s funny. I’ve watched ESB soo many times and never noticed. 😅 I guess I listen to it more than I watch it and maybe that’s why?

Due to aforementioned issues with finding Series 2 here I have not been able to get this. For anyone in the UK that is unaware of the current state of distribution, only the Bo-Katan’s Gauntlet Fighter, Luke Skywalker’s Snowspeeder and the AAT Battle Tank are available and Morrisons is the only shop stocking Series 2 as The Entertainer has discontinued Series 2 and it’s known that Smyths are unlikely to carry the series as well. The Republic LAAT was briefly available as a preorder but sold out.
Thanks for the update, I did get some blind boxes in Tesco but that was in Ireland!

The flaps move with the back rocker, its not a locking mechanism for the tow cable.

After is saw your hoth playset i checked out mine, well its not that much missing i guess. Hoth-Leia, a Pilot, the Blue droid seen in the vid, Wampa, Luke on Tautaun. And the clue is the huge gap in the front is no missing part at all, your turret stored in the hanger bay ment to be attached there ;) And they were 3 laser Missiles to use for Ion cannon or Turret. I like the new snowspeeder so far, with some paintjob Luke can finally have some Wingmen *haha* (because action fleets are to rare and bad conditioned these days)

That little movable part is so when you fly it with your hand, it moves the aleron or slat to the side its turning!!!!!
Frustrating to watch you completely miss the flap lever, and that Luke’s speeder has gray markings.

You could use a Disneyland AT-AT popcorn bucket as a micro galaxy vehicle. The popcorn bucket is pretty accurate in size when compared to this snowy speeder

I looked at the Action Fleet Snowspeeder today at Galaxy Comics.
Action Fleet was a better scale, with better ships.

honestly these days action fleet ships are going for $20-30 on ebay, if that's what MGS snowspeeder is going for it's probably a better use of money to just wait and find a good used Action Fleet one secondhand than pay that much for one.

Yes ^ Luke's snowspeeder Rogue 1 just had the all-gray panels.
The snowspeeder is accurate to Luke’s in Hoth. The other snowspeeder’s have red accents but they were NOT Luke’s. If you watch the movie you’ll notice Luke’s had the Grey accents. Great channel keep up the good work!

Action fleet are a lot better also you can use the Action fleet snowspeeder with a kenner Atat put them side by side it looks right

Fair enough. Even knowing that it still feels meh… I’ve enjoyed the line soo far and as I’ve mentioned series 2 seems to be getting better with details. This one just didn’t do it for me. Action fleet was clearly better this time around.

@The Dan-O Channel ??? I'm just saying that you should become familiar with a product before you review it. What's wrong with that? You clearly did not know that the rear switch was to operate the air brakes-not to lock the tow cable. How is that regurgitating another's opinion?
@@lykeromeo3213 I feel like if my experience of looking at the box didn’t deliver clear enough instructions then it was a fail on the part of the manufacturer. The simple act of watching another persons review or unboxing has the potential to skew my own thoughts on a product before I’ve even seen it myself.
In most cases package instructions are clear enough to relay what it does. If me, someone who opens hundreds of items throughout the year can’t clearly and concisely figure out how a toy works just by using the provided instructions, then a casual consumer definitely isn’t going to get it.
What I do here is offer genuine reactions based on my user experience. I’m not going to watch a bunch of other peoples videos first before I hit record. Because I run the chance that their opinions might seep into mine before it’s even formed. I don’t want that. I never want to risk that. Even if that means one guy in the comments get frustrated that I couldn’t tell how a feature works because they already watched other people’s videos explaining it. Sincerest apologies but that’s just not how I operate.🤷🏽♂️ and maybe my style of video isn’t for you and that’s ok. UA-cam is a huge place and there are tons of channels covering stuff. ✌🏽
