Game Summary
ARK is reimagined from the ground-up into the next-generation of video game technology with Unreal Engine 5! Form a tribe, tame & breed hundreds of unique dinosaurs and primeval creatures, explore, craft, build, and fight your way to the top of the food-chain. Your new world awaits!
Lurking in the untamed jungles and sprawling grasslands, the Ceratosaurus is an aggressive predator adorned with venom-laced spines. Their attacks cause victims to erupt in bursts of blood, a sight for sore eyes (or a tactical advantage for a clever Survivor!). If you can harness this power, tamed Ceratosaurus will unleash healing bursts that revitalize themselves and your fellow carnivores. These swift creatures make for some of the fastest mounts you'll find.
Be wary of the open ocean, for there lurk shoals of Xiphactinus, relentlessly aggressive fish with appetites bigger than their bodies. These voracious predators will blindly attack anything in sight, so you'll need to act fast or become their next meal! They tend to become even more ferocious in packs, so stay on your toes

Desperately relying on the modders to save Ark... they are slowly turning into Bethesda. I can't wait for the Ark Script Extender and associated bug fixes to be made for them.

Is anyone who have the update download unable to boot up their world with mods?
This update broke the game if you play with mods, apparently. Immediate crash upon reaching the end of the loading screen.
Who needs mod to have fun if you can just play vanilla

Mods make the game customizable. For instance, the two new creatures you heard about in this video were both community created mods just yesterday. They're called Additions Ascended in the mod page.

My single player literally just broke, most mods aren’t working for me
Same, this is such a waste of time. I've already had to restart 3 times, now I have to do it again? What's the point in playing this game.
That’s why you don’t use that many mods, stop using large mods like automated ark and learn how to play without low key cheats called mods, use a few added creatures and a feature or two, don’t go overboard
@@allahandro8367 I've been playing this game since 2015 and I'm getting bored with the same thing, that's why I only have 20 mods installed, because without them I wouldn't play anymore, and besides, if Wilcard didn't want mods, he wouldn't have implemented them in the game. so your talk is in vain.
@@allahandro8367 maybe you should read the comments a bit more before assuming anything buddy. I have 7 mods and three of them are broken now. Stop trying to lecture, nobody cares what you think.

Since updating I’ve crashed 4 times already. It’s basically unplayable now! I thought updates were supposed to IMPROVE gameplay! 🤬

scratch that I can log into the island but not scorched, witch is where my tames and house is....
Having the exact same issue. My save seems entirely broken now and all I'm left to do is deactivate each mod separately until I find the culprit?

@@natesmith9387 I know right. Tbh, I don't really trust using Dino altering mods like this anymore until the game is complete. I have 4 other people who play in my game as well so they're right beside me, waiting.
I was running great frame rates prior to this update, but it is almost unplayable now. This running on a PC with AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT. They keep killing any game optimization.
They also patched the megapethicus boss cheese spot lol
Keeps crashing as loading in to the game can't play it at all
If they turned the mod into vanilla on ASA, it would be good for ppl who can't play ASA to get them into vanilla too
Anyone else running an AMD gpu and the game not utilizing the card after this update? My fps tanked because my card is underclocking itself and my gpu utilization is around 50-70% in game.
Edit: If anyone is experiencing this, if your willing too deleting your save and starting over fixed the issue for me.
After the update I can’t even get on scorched earth it kicks me out of the game 🤦🏽♂️

I think this update did something to Unofficial servers because nothing is showing up it seams.

@@alandoel5870 not sure. I downloaded a new modded map to try and my server or anyone else’s is showing up. It’s funny because there is only 1 dedicated server showing up that has a max of 8 players 😂
Make sure the server restarts. Also it can take time for updates to roll out on all servers as they usually do rolling updates.

@XxXGenoXxX I just restarted my server. I see that is not coming up. Which means I'll need to wait for the hosting company to update on their end. I also pay Ark on a gaming community. Theirs isn't up either. 2 differ server hosting companies.

As soon as those 3 are deactivated, my game loads just fine.
Sad news. I use all those mods. Guess i wont load in until its fixed.
So, for me, its just shiny dinos that crash the game. I reactivated the other two and ive loaded in.

I just rented a server. Everyone is welcome it's cross play friendly, but it is set to duo tibe only if your interested name is ( Earth Boosted Rates/ Modded /Duo Tribe only )
I don't see what the big deal is? using mods you can get 100x better/ more exciting stuff. its not like theres any limitations to people using mods since they are technically part of the vanilla game... I get if they drop a brand new dino with a new map, but otherwise who gives af about xiphactinus being added to island? like are people really gonna go back to official island just to see a fish? lol.
