Actually, It is against the law for law enforcement to use an ultralight aircraft to patrol, pursue or otherwise conduct business in the line of law enforcement. It's in the Federal Arenotics Regulations. I love the FAR.
Back in the late 80's the Sheriff of Towns County, Ga used a paramotor trike for a little while! Rudy was maybe one of the coolest cops I have ever met!
Cops were great! They could have looked at it as intimidating but probably knew they could knock you out of the air if they had to. Glad you stopped to chat... the pics should be posted all and all great video thanks for sharing.
FabioPanucci I love smart asses. And do you know the description was there when I watched this video? Nope. You have no idea if it was changed, added, or whatever. Besides - i come to youtube to watch videos - not read descriptions. You read the descriptions and write curt responses and I’ll be watching the next video!
If your in Omaha I'm over in Des Moines but I go to the MWTA trials events in weeping water, if you wanna fly a sweet place go there. There is a winery and an old rock quarry and tons of beautiful landscaping to see. I plan on bringing my motor with me to the next trials event there and get some aerial video of the trials going on
"There is a winery and an old rock quarry and tons of beautiful landscaping to see." That area is my normal stomping grounds haha. I'm always down to fly if you're in Omaha.
Это какая страна? Ваши полицейские все хорошо относятся к пилотам или только ваши друзья-полицейские? This is what country? Your police all relate well to the pilots or just your COP friends.
Training depends on how quickly you progress, but 7-15 days is what I’ve seen. I recommend having $10,000 before buying into the sport. Or about $6500 between two people if you share the gear.
They took pictures lol that was awesome!!!! Sucks to say it but here in Kissimmee Florida it's hard to find cops like that.... Lol I probably would've gotten arrested for bringing up FAA RULES LMFAO
I have a suggestion for the a video, fly to a moving police car, knock on the window and if they roll down the window say '' do you know how to fast you are going
My neighbor has flown his ppg down along the hwy and buzzed a local cop giving a speeding ticket lol...he almost walked across the top of his cop car. Yes...he knew him well before hand.
Where is this? I live in Papillion and don't recognize any of it. I also used to fly PPG. Unfortunately GOPro's hadn't come out yet, so my helmet cam footage isn't as good as this. Also, do you know JD Rexroad?
I sold my PPG after breaking my back and ankle in a dumb towing accident, but I see guys flying at the FOD still and stop by once in a while. Stay safe!!!
Question: Had I been flying my drone at this same location at say 150' (well below the 400' max AGL a drone can legally fly) and you come buzzing by and hit my drone, you crash and are seriously injured, who is at fault? FAR 103.13 (a) states - Each person operating an ultralight vehicle shall maintain vigilance so as to see and avoid aircraft and shall yield the right-of-way to all aircraft.
I am seventy years old and fly a Freshbreeze paramotor and I also have two drones. As a drone pilot, you would be at fault (FAR 107 explains it). Actually, it isn't as far fetched as people might think. My DJI Mavic is quite a bit faster than my paramotor. You can fly your drone easily out of your sight and the camera is awesome but you could hit something like that before you realize you are on top of it. I think the only way it would happen is if you were trying to film a paraglider and just got too close. You can almost bet that within a year or two, there will be a video on UA-cam of just that. Ha!
Mark Barrentine the drone pilot would be at fault. Us drone pilots have to give right of way to any manned aircraft even if they fall under FAR part 103 they are still manned and a drone pilot needs to just get out of the way lol I want to get into paramotors next year it currently fly a Yuneec typhoon H pro drone and if I hear an aircraft coming I bring her down low until I can see wether or not it's a high flying Cessna or piper or a low flying ultralight and even if they are well over 1,000 feet I just bring it down below 200 or so till they pass. It's far easier for us to see them than for them to see our relatively small drones so it's our responsibility to steer clear because if we collide with them all we lose is a 1500$ drone lol they have their life on the line up there and what's more valuable
Oh dude... you have no idea, the cops in this area know what's up :D If you see em, their worth making friends with so they know how do deal with "suspicious calls" if you concern the locals. Even cooler if they decide to train and fly with you.
Correct but they DO have jurisdiction over the places you take off and land from (if not an airport) and they certainly DO have jurisdiction when/if you create a hazard to those on the ground.....Like on a public road. That said, he knew them and it was all in the family so to speak. No harm no foul. Way off in a park, no public etc.
What a bunch of ignorant comments. So many police officers fly PPG. They were there to check out an exiting sport that's all. Stop spreading cop hate. I have flown with many of our LE Brothers. Nice video keep it up.
I wanta see cops in paramotors with sirens chasing a bank robber
I didn't put that one up on UA-cam ;).
Better than a chopper without all the rotor wash.

Seems like they could be an asset without the cost , etc., of a chopper.
Gotta love good cops.
I thought they were going to be mad about you buzzing them. Whewwww.
Me, too! Those guys are the greatest!
Afterwards read that they were friends who also liked to fly.
Nice vids ! Be careful near water !!! Very good the pic with police !! Lool !!!
Power floats for the win!
PARAVROUM Uzerche why?
It's difficult to judge height above glassy water, although in this case he had the edges of the lake as a reference point which made it OK.
Just came across ur channel definitely a subscriber !!! Amazing video
Im on the Nemo xx too. Looks like you are doing some good wing overs on it!
this is what I call a paramotor experience.
So awesome
Aaayyyy welcome to Omaha!
Your showing the fun of the sport. Keep it up!
Man people are so nice over there. I wish I could be there.
Thumbs up for the officers!Thats how they should act/react.
I would love to try this, and also be absolutely terrified to try this.
Just try it! if you try and love it, good for you! If you die, you won't know the difference! :-)
Cops were great! They could have looked at it as intimidating but probably knew they could knock you out of the air if they had to.
Glad you stopped to chat... the pics should be posted all and all great video thanks for sharing.
$5 says you knew them pre flight.
EvilBryan7
Haha. Ok. Glad you are enjoying yourself! I hope one day I can get into this!

"I'm a dumbass who doesn't read descriptions so I'm going to blame my stupidity on other people"
No shit billy bob
Ros
Another day, another smart ass. This one named Ros. UA-cam seriously gives voices to idiots.
great video
Wish all cops were this cool. Nice vid

i wanna see that dashcam footage lol
The cops were chill af
Awesome cops
Taunting the police lol.
At least that's how it looks.
They are buds.
Decided to zig-zag and see if I could entangle the control lines or at least stall one of the wingtips!
ppg seems to bring one of two reactions. Indifference isnt one of the two.. Thanks for the vid!
Awesome video and channel. If you ever get to Colorado hit me up I’d love to fly with ya. You got my sub
Have much experience with mountain flying out there? That's on my list for sure!
I fly fpv drones I haven’t paramotored yet
awww...I was going to ask where you fly, so I can come watch in person...some day...getting a PPG...just have to fly vicariously thru others for now.
Sounds like that deadmau5 video where he finds that vocal
How much does it cost and how long does it take to learn how to fly properly
Training depends on how quickly you progress, but 7-15 days is what I’ve seen.
I recommend having $10,000 before buying into the sport.
Or about $6500 between two people if you share the gear.
It would appear that the two have a certain magnetic attraction
The veldt
I love trump
Woah you were near me
Does anyone know if modern weapons systems onboard a fighter jet can achieve radar lock on a paramotor and it's pilot ?
The Scout comes standard with an anti-ballistic missile system.
dafuq lel
fighter jet knock a hole in an apple on your helmet
I'm pretty sure a little wake from the fighter jet will do the job and let gravity do the rest.
Just punch out some flares lol
dam you flew by them lmao
You are right behind my house!
They took pictures lol that was awesome!!!! Sucks to say it but here in Kissimmee Florida it's hard to find cops like that.... Lol I probably would've gotten arrested for bringing up FAA RULES LMFAO
There should be thumbs up button for starring in videos :D I would like to give ThumbsUp for theese policeman :)
If this was GTA 5, just by looking at the police will make you attain a 1 star wanted level, then the whole thing escalates to 5 stars.
When you are on 4 stars in gta I guess you know what happens
I have a suggestion for the a video, fly to a moving police car, knock on the window and if they roll down the window say '' do you know how to fast you are going
I think THOOPER DELL did that once...
No, I think Super Dave...uh, Dell,...landed on the roof while setting 3 world records in the process.
was that a crop circle at :20?
Song name : search so in love with the way we are and u will get it and thank me later
Well I have a new goal in life... Listen to the Veldt on paraglider. I just found these exist.
See, cool cops... The news never shows that!
That's cause its not news.
@@FGuilt true
I think the cop tased him right at the end. LoL
So peaceful :)
Song??
paramotors are the bicycles of the sky
My neighbor has flown his ppg down along the hwy and buzzed a local cop giving a speeding ticket lol...he almost walked across the top of his cop car. Yes...he knew him well before hand.
Deadmau5 FTW.
did you got speed ticket?
I too thought they would be mad for no reason ...sad that's the way it is all too often now.
So that’s you up at Cunningham!
EvilBryan7 I’m totally on the ppg bandwagon now. I’ll have to catch you or someone around for some more info sometime.
Forsure. Here is the only guy I know of that does training in Omaha.
J.D. Rexroad
Email: jdrexroad@yahoo.com
Mobile Phone: 402-871-7471
I think there's another guy about to be a trainer in the area 😉
I see a guy driving around Bellevue once in a while with a Paramotoring sign on his vehicle. Same guy?
I love *h a p p y e n d i n g s*
What kind of happy ending 😈🤣👏🤫
🤣
Omaha NE!?
Dudek gliders. ?
Where is this? I live in Papillion and don't recognize any of it. I also used to fly PPG. Unfortunately GOPro's hadn't come out yet, so my helmet cam footage isn't as good as this. Also, do you know JD Rexroad?
Cunningham lake. JD was my instructor. Still fly at the field of dreams all the time!
I sold my PPG after breaking my back and ankle in a dumb towing accident, but I see guys flying at the FOD still and stop by once in a while. Stay safe!!!
I think I used to see you while at my inlaws...did you fly over Walnut Creek? This was a few years ago...
I thought the cop was going to charge him with being high.
They just mad because they cant pull you over.
No need.... that's what their guns are for.
se fosse no brasil tinha sido preso.. kkk
Without permission flying 🤔😁😆. GTA SPECIAL 😄

Drones are required to yield right of way to all manned air traffic.
God save the Commonwealth!

"Working"
Omaha Police! IM from omaha nebraska! Born and raised! Where do you fly at?!
All over! We are often around Louisville.
These Cops are cool... like that...
Oh dude... you have no idea, the cops in this area know what's up :D If you see em, their worth making friends with so they know how do deal with "suspicious calls" if you concern the locals. Even cooler if they decide to train and fly with you.
Control tower buzzing a cop car. So sweet. So dumb.
They were definitely cool with it.
Guess the cops thought you were a flight risk
In the air the laws in the ground don’t apply you are free
Those were the nice cops, the next pair you meet will probably shoot first and ask questions later...
He a fly.
Land police have NO jurisdiction over air traffic.
lol

I wanta see bank robberI chasing Cops
And I thought you got pulled over for speeding.
What? Cops that aren't assholes? I can't believe it.
I thought that looked like an Omaha cruiser! Small world!

Zorinsky lake
James Sloup looks like cunningham
Throw raw egg on Cops car's wind screen and then go to 12000 feet.

@@midknightcn8902 Just kidding man.

AEZAKMI
What a troll lol
Well, least they never shot you. Good job!
What is it about paramotor fliers that they just have to inflict their choice of crappy music on viewers?
A Myers deadmau5 is god
Because Paramotors are loud and they are trying to mask the sound.
What is it about commentors that they just have to inflict their hatred of the creators choice of music on the creator?
It's a white thang, I would not understand.
Not everyone cuts themselves while listening to 21 pilots
Doesn't count without a touch and go running up the hood.
All the effort to make a flying video and you overlaid crappy background music on it
Down vote for stupid title
To bad the strings did,t snap at that exses manuvers with low atitude to deploy reserv.
Music ruined this clip
Careful, these days the cops will shoot you out of the sky.
flying a paramotor would be a great way to run from the police when you escape from prison...
Until they get their helicopter. I'd imagine that the downforce of the copter would easily ground one of these.
